Sightseeing of the Island Krk
KrkThe classic Krk Island sightseeing tour includes a walk through the old town of Krk, where we will unravel the rich history of the town and the island. This is followed by a visit to the Franciscan monastery on Košljun islet - a place of peace and harmony with a centuries-old tradition of preserving heritage and culture. The islet boasts a beautiful monastery with a small forest and paths, as well as a very interesting sacral, ethnographic, biological, and archaeological gallery. Afterward, we will visit either Vrbnik or Baška. Vrbnik is known for its Žlahtina wine, its cultivated fields, cliffs, and a printing press. Baška preserves the oldest written monument of the Croats. Besides Baška's literacy being the oldest in Croatia, tourism also took root early here. Thus, Baška is one of the most popular destinations in Croatia, and in addition to its large beautiful beach, it hides many cultural attractions and natural walking trails.Duration: 12 hoursFree cancellation availableSee availabilityCurrent price from US$188Available from tomorrow

Grandma Marija Pirogi Cooking Class
RazvalaThese pirogi don’t come from a restaurant — they come from memory. In this hands-on workshop in Slavonia, you’ll make a dish rarely found on menus, but deeply rooted in local tradition. The recipe comes from my late grandmother, made just as she did — by feel, not by measurements. From kneading the dough to folding each piece, every step follows her rhythm and care. We use humble but meaningful ingredients: flour, eggs, potatoes, onions... seasonal, simple, and nourishing. All ingredients are sourced locally — many straight from the garden. But tradition doesn’t mean boring. We always add a small modern twist — especially to the sweet version. One day it might be served with homemade ice cream, another with fresh fruit from our orchard or a touch of edible flowers. You’ll get your hands messy, your belly full, and your heart warm. This experience blends the old and the new — and every time, it’s deliciously different. This is the heritage — and you’re invited into the kitchen.Duration: 3 hours 30 minutesFree cancellation availableSee availabilityCurrent price from US$77Available from 31 Dec
