This 50-minute river cruise will give you a chance to relax while viewing Oxford and its surroundings. During the cruise, you'll travel along the University Regatta course from Folly Bridge to the charming village of Iffley and back.
As you cruise on the River Thames, the captain of the boat will tell you about the history and tales of the area. You'll have a chance to take in the beautiful scenery as you pass by Folly Bridge, Christ Church College, the university boathouses and Iffley Lock. The tour will also grant you a discount at The Folly Restaurant.
Arrive at iFLY Milton Keynes and safely float in an 800-horsepower vertical wind tunnel that generates a wall-to-wall cushion of air commonly used by professional skydivers without having to jump from a plane. Just about anyone can fly and no experience is necessary.
Once inside the flight chamber, a tunnel operator slowly increases the wind speed until you and your instructor are airborne. Feel the adrenaline rush as you float at wind speeds reaching 130 to 175 mph (209 to 282 kph). The stable wall-to-wall airflow keeps you from falling off the column of air and your instructor is on hand at all times to guide you.
The entire indoor skydiving experience takes about 90 minutes from start to finish. Each session includes up to 13 people, but you fly one-on-one with your instructor twice - the same freefall time as three tandem skydives!

We travel through the city past famous landmarks including Christchurch College and Meadows, the University boathouses and regatta course, the Head of the River and Folly Bridge. From the river, we take in a side of Oxford's heritage rarely seen by visitors to the city. Quaint Osney Island, well-loved allotments and gardens, and majestic and ancient Port Meadow are off the tourist trail but represent some of Oxford's most beautiful and intriguing scenery. Port Meadow, a vast area of common land, has remained little changed since prehistoric times and supports plants and bird-life in abundance. At the top of Port Meadow is Godstow. Godstow was the ultimate destination of Alice Liddell and Lewis Carroll when they followed an identical route to our trip while composing 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'. It is also the site of Trout Island, an inspiration for another of Oxford's literary icons, C S Lewis, and his stories of the land of Narnia.

Oxford boasts the finest collection of historical buildings in the United Kingdom and our Classic Oxford Walking tour takes visitors on a 90 - 120 minute meander through 1000 years of architectural and social history. We visit a number of iconic university and college buildings, discuss their origins, architects and purpose, while providing a rich vein of social history of the town and university. Among the sights you will see are Christ Church, the 11th century University Church of St Mary, the famous Radcliffe Camera, Bridge of Sighs, and much more. Where possible we will take clients inside university and college buildings.
