My name is Miran, and over the last 20 years of my life I have guided fellow travelers like you on my famous Enjoy Herzegovina tour. I was born and raised in Mostar, which I consider one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and have since built a hostel and tour business. I have unique insight into the history of my region, a region that both experienced times of prosperity and the horrors of war, a history I feel moved to share with people from across the world.
You will be picked up from my hostel, Hostel Miran, which is just 5 minutes away from the Bus Station, and will be transported in a comfortable and air conditioned minivan. You will see Blagaj Dervish Monastery, Pocitelj Castle and the surrounding area, and of course, the beautiful Kravice Waterfalls. Afterwards, we'll drive up Mountain Fortica with the best views of Mostar and the newly built Sky walking bridge.

After pick up in Mostar, embark on a 25 min drive to the Cold River kayak camp. First we shall go through the safety procedures necessary to have smooth and enjoyable experience. Bunica is slow and calm river so it is easy to paddle up and down and we shall let you explore on your own and at your own pace. Stop where you want and go when you want.
The amazing sight shall be revealed for you where whole river springs out of deep blue hole tucked in between steep cliffs. get incredible photos.
Then, descend down the river and enjoy sounds of nature. BBQ lunch awaits served at the camp.. After leisurely lunch we start heading back to Mostar.

The parish of Medjugorje is situated in Herzegovina, 25 km southwest of Mostar. Medjugorje, (the name is of Slavic origin, and signifies a region between two mounts) with villages of Bijakovići, Vionica, Miletina and Šurmanci, forms a Roman-Catholic paris where today about 5000 inhabitants live. The pastoral cars of the paris is confided to the priests of the Herzegovinian Franciscan Province of the Assumptions of Mary. The whole region is inhabited by Croats (Bosnian Croats) who received Christianity 13 centuries ago. In historical documents, the village was mentioned in 1599 for the first time. The persent parish was founded in 1892, and dedicated to St.James the Apostole, protector of pilgirms. Until June 24, 1981, Medjugorje lived like all other villages of this region: people worked on their land, planted tobacco and vineyards, produced wine and vegetables to acquire just enough for modest life for their families.

Among the seemingly endless karstic wastelands, the River Trebizat forms waterfalls thirty meters in height and more than a hundred meters in width. There is no place in Herzegovina, especially in the summer, that can rival this natural wonder.
Descending into the valley of Trebizat brings a feeling of reaching into another world, with rich flora and fauna.
