    Samaria Gorge Hike

    On this guided tour, you'll hike through the Samaria Gorge, a 16km ravine and the longest in Europe. The experience will begin with a drive through the White Mountains to your starting point, the Xyloskalo staircase. Throughout the hike, you'll pass by small chapels, walk between the high ravine walls and might even spot some of Crete's wild goats. A highlight will be the Iron Gates, the narrowest section of the gorge where the 300m-high walls stand just 3m apart. The hike will end at the seaside village of Agia Roumeli, where you may have time to swim or relax in a taverna. To get back to your coach, you'll take a boat ride along the coast.
