On this small-group tour, you'll have the chance to discover Pompeii with an archaeologist by your side. You'll have two hours to walk through the preserved site featuring excavated ruins of streets and houses. Your guide will bring you up to speed with the history of the ancient city and its tragic destruction by a volcanic eruption.
Afterwards, you'll have a chance to visit Mount Vesuvius, one of the most famous volcanoes in the world. You'll get to walk up to the top and admire the panoramic views of the Bay of Naples, the islands of Capri and Ischia, as well as the stunning Sorrento coastline.
