The host, Miguel, is very responsive and helpful. The location is in the outskirts of Madalena on a calm and quiet street. The town center and the harbour can be reached by foot in less than 10 minutes. The apartment has everything travellers need, even a washing machine. I can definitely recommend BOA NOVA.

The entire complex had just opened, and we were absolutely enchanted by the peace and tranquility it offered — exactly what we needed after life in a big city. The layout is very thoughtful: the bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor, while the kitchen and living area are upstairs. I was genuinely impressed by the hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond to help us — recommending the best ferry, sharing a list of local restaurants and must-see spots on the island. The kitchen is fully equipped and very convenient to use. There is a shared laundry area with a washer and dryer available, which was a big plus. One of our favorite parts was the outdoor area with a view of the ocean and a cozy barbecue zone, complete with firewood. Keep in mind that since the house is so close to nature, you might encounter a few insects — it’s part of the charm of being immersed in such a natural setting. Also, storage is a bit limited, with only five hangers available for clothes. Overall, it was a peaceful and warm experience that we’ll never forget. Highly recommended for anyone seeking rest, nature, and heartfelt hospitality.
