The apartment was beautiful. Very new and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cups and cutlery. There was even coffee pods, and some chips. The apartment is opposite the harbour close to shops, and free parking is available around the corner. The old centre and lighthouse is all within walking distance.

The location of the property was excellent, you are right by the beach front and the town. The B&B was very clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi was amazing on a cold night. The host was very nice. Absolutely stunning interior design, space and location. The hosts are superb. Diana and Paul were so helpful throughout the stay. Everything is top quality and we found parking easy. Inside our bungalow there was information relating to the local area. We thought Edam was so beautiful and quaint. The streets and houses are immaculate. We would love to return one day. What an amazing highlight of our multiple location European road trip. Thank you so much Paul and Diana for the personal touch, attention and help. An amazing experience.

Comfortable accommodations in beautifully restored historic building in downtown Hoorn. Arie, the host, was wonderful! He responded to inquiries promptly, welcomed me upon arrival and made me feel at home immediately, arranged for additional garden furniture, dinnerware, etc. to accommodate me hosting my family and friends in the beautiful church garden. Restaurants, stores, sights all within walking distance. Kitchenette equipped with everything one needs for breakfast, lunch, and easy dinners.

Everything was great! Marleen met me and gave me the keys. She was very friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. There were some complementary snacks: sugar-glazed almonds and two cartons with fruit juice. The apartment was large, spotlessly clean and had everything (a fully equipped kitchen, bathrobes (which were very om point, considering the fact the weather was very cold for the end of May, and it was a bit chilly in the evenings), a fridge with a freezer, a hair drier etc.) The neighbourhood is very safe (well, Urk IS a very safe city in general), there are two bakeries, a supermarket, a sweets store and a slaughter shop next door. The beach is a few minutes away by foot.

This was absolutely perfection. Everything brand new, recently converted. We wanted to stay in an apartment that felt like home, where if the weather was bad you could curl up on the couch and read or watch tv. Check, check and check. Huge kitchen living area fully stocked with utensils. The neighborhood supermarket is across the street. We made breakfast at home and ate out the rest of the time. Three minute walk to center of village with 3 restaurants and a bakery. Beds and bathroom were excellent, super clean. Host lovely. Beautiful countryside.
