The property is around 3 km from Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village, 49 km from Gero Station and 700 metres from Sakurayama Hachiman Shrine. The aparthotel has family rooms. Great location to the morning markets and the Old Town and walking distance to the train station.

Really loved the stay at Private House Takayama – it felt like a home away from home. The place was very clean and had a very well-equipped kitchen which made our stay particularly enjoyable as we were able to make our own meals. (There is also a washing machine and dryer). The location is very convenient with sights, food options and supermarkets within walking distance. The hosts were highly responsive and provided very clear and useful information to ensure a smooth stay, including guidance on parking. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Takayama.

As good as the expectation was. The host (Muramatsu-san) was a great person to hang out with (his taste is music- beauty). The rooms were big enough with a nice window view of things. Everything was well furnished from the kitchen to the rooms and washrooms. Clear ten on ten.

The location was perfect for walking to access everything you could need, only 0.3 miles from the train station but in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!
