Definitely will be coming back next time we visit Matera.

The location was excellent, very close to the action around the centre of the old town but just outside the hustle & bustle. Nothing at all to dislike, and a lot to like 👍

The apartment features family rooms. Owner was friendly and kind. Upon arrival she greeted us at the entrance and She took us on a tour of the entire house and explained everything patiently. She responded to our queries promptly. Kitchen facilities were really good. Supermarket is very near. Walkable distance from property to important places. Washing machine was functioning and comfortably dried our clothes. Free street parking was available. Everything was good.

The comfortable, air-conditioned accommodation also comes with soundproofing and a fireplace. The accommodation is non-smoking. Host went above and beyond in his attention to my needs. Rooms were very large and comfortable and with utilizing just the master bedroom and not using the two other bedrooms the apartment was probably 1100 to 1200 square feet. Very nicely decorated. Bathroom we done whereby tub was replaced with a shower. Saturday market, picture below, was an added bonus to my visit.
