Had a great stay at Thuishaven! Very affordable and comfortable place to stay that is centrally located in a safe neighborhood. Beautiful view, easy access to the beach for swimming or snorkeling. It’s a small property so it doesn’t feel crowded with a large amount of people trying to find a place at the beach.

We loved the view and sunsets also enjoyed the access to the sea to dive… we spent hours jumping to the sea and diving. Everyday at the end of the day we wanted to be at the property to see the sunset. It is close to beautiful beaches 5 min car to playa Piskado where we swan with turtles, Klein knip, Grote knip, Cas Abao 30 min, Puerto Marie 30 min. We rented a car and bought the food in our way to the property (where the host recommended us). The unit was well maintained had everything we would need, we spent great time at the pool and grooming some cats that were around, also bunch of Iguanas in the morning… we really loved Mar Azul

Very nice place! Located by a beautiful beach (road between beach and property, not a very busy road though), the beach has a really nice playing ground for children just outside the house, nice public swimming beach within walking distance, as are two lovely fish restaurants. Nice, pretty big, store within walking distance from property, so is Mambo beach with all the bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife. Nice, safe neighbourhood. Very nice clean studio. Functional kitchenette. Comfortable bed. Good shower and clean toilet. AC and fan in the studio. Parking space infront of house. Separate beach towels on recuest. Very nice and very helpful host who picked us up from airport (which was worth gold after traveling for 22 hrs). Host lives close by, so help is on hand if any should be needed. We felt very welcome and liked our stay here very much. Can very much recommend this to anyone wanting to see beautiful Curacao!
