Maikol arranged transport from the airport and to my next destination. My dog was safe and had a friend to play with. Grace showed me some walks and let me practice my Spanish with her. The bed was comfy and I used the washer and drier. The kitchen is well equipped, it even has a kettle for tea.

Kenneth was extremely friendly and gave us a parking space in the fenced parking lot of the next door car repair shop without us announcing beforehand that we will need it.

Olga’s Place This was our second stay at Olga’s place. Here’s why we came back and why we will continue to stay for future visits to Costa Rica. Yes her location is close to the airport and an Uber pick up very easy. Yes her location is walkable to many nearby restaurants and a grocery store. Yes there is WiFi, air conditioner and fans but what makes her place so special is ALL the details for travelers. Either she herself has traveled extensively or she has done her research or talked with guests about what they need. Olga provides what others never think of. We thank you for all your thoughtful provisions. Highly highly recommend this stay! 🏆 We’ll be regulars from now on.

This is an authentic Costa Rica experience, away from the mass tourism of La Fortuna but also close enough to get there in a few minutes (by car) or even walk. The cabin is spotless, cold AC, warm water and good WiFi. Carlos and Rosie are the most wonderful hosts. You're staying in a working farm, so you can milk cows (and drink fresh milk) and see some wild animals up close, including sloth, monkey and toucans. As others mention the hummingbirds like to congregate in the garden. There is a little country store nearby with a few essentials, and the community is real and safe. Nice country walks.

It is located within walking distance of a very nice plaza with food options. There were also very sweet touches to the apartment that made it feel like home. We did not spend a lot of time here but it was perfect for what we needed.

The place is wonderfully quiet and truly makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle. We especially enjoyed connecting with the local family, having meaningful conversations, and learning a lot about Costa Rican life. We really appreciated our connection with Leidi and Jo and meeting their two lovely young daughters. Leidi is very experienced and knowledgeable about tourism in Costa Rica and gave us great advice on places to visit. Breakfast was simple and tasty, with different options to choose from. Breakfasts and coffee were freshly made and were brought right to our bungalow every morning. Great experience!
