Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The location was super and the staff very professional.

While we’ve heard good things about the restaurant we like to self cater on holiday - there was a well equipped kitchen in our apartment and excellent supermarkets and a Sunday farmers market nearby. There’s a shuttle bus to Hastings Street every half hour which was awesome for avoiding parking hassles when we went to the beach / shops.

The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. All apartments come with full kitchen facilities and many also have sea views. We had a really good stay, unfortunately only for one night. Was so good to walk into a bright airy clean room, with everything you need for a lovely break by the sea. Even had a balcony with a view. Just what we needed. After staying at several not so good places. Thank you ladies. Anyone looking to book, you won’t go wrong!

Just a few metres from the beach in Hervey Bay, the Allegra Hervey Bay offers luxurious, spacious, self-contained apartments and direct access to the Fraser Island World Heritage Site. You can relax on the beach or take a refreshing dip in the lagoon pool. Alternatively, energise yourself at the fitness centre and follow it up with a sauna session. We enjoyed the pool area and proximity to the beach. We were given a warm welcome and good recommendations for food in the local area.
