Outrigger Apartments Port Douglas offers a heated saltwater swimming pool, a tropical garden and free Wi-Fi. Amanda and Peter were fabulous, their care felt very personal. They attended to any question and request, they are so lovely. The location was perfect, close to town, close to the beach, but in a quiet street. There was also a fridge and desk where people left food as they left. So good for things like oil, butter.

Pool Port Douglas Resort offers a selection of elegant, modern apartments, all spacious, self contained and nestled around a glittering, 185 metre central swimming lagoon. We had a wonderful stay in a 2-bedroom swim-out apartment, which was perfect for our family. The space was thoughtfully designed with plenty of storage, and the beds were super comfortable. It’s a little further out of town, but we appreciated the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The staff were warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home. A real highlight was the excellent café just a short walk away, serving delicious breakfast and lunch with beautiful river views—we went every day. We also loved relaxing on our patio each afternoon and stepping straight into the pool.

The apartment was nicely decorated, comfortable, and very functional. The large outdoor seating area was a great place to unwind, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the marina, shops, and restaurants. The hosts were very friendly and communicated well throughout our stay, which made everything easy and stress-free. Overall, a great place to stay and we’d happily come back.
