Our host Ashoka was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for him. We could walk to the shops,post office and a bakery. Main attractions were a short taxi drive away. It was a wonderful stay in a family apartment.

Special mention goes to the reservation manager, Mr. Sashika, who went above and beyond by offering complimentary transportation to the train station - a thoughtful gesture we weren’t expecting! Overall Experience: ★★★★★ Kandy River Lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. The serene riverside setting provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior experience was outstanding. Final Thoughts This hotel offers a surprisingly tranquil experience that you wouldn’t anticipate from the outside. The combination of the beautiful location, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional service made for a memorable stay. Beautiful mountain view from large balcony. Modern apartments with everything you need. Good coffee with dripper, large water dispenser, fridge, shampoo and bday soap, two shower rooms, washing machine and laundry powder, on top of all that the breakfast was so nice and the hosts were very nice and helpful. Thank you Sami and Aline for making our stay in Kandy so special.
