Well built and set up villa on hillside, tucked into the tress. With a deck you can sit and enjoy nature and look up to the stupa. Large room with seperate bathroom, good water pressure. It is house of town so very peaceful. We had dinner two night both were delicious, well worth doing if you come. Breakfast with different each day but always included fresh juice and fruit. Tried to stay longer but they were booked!

We have been travelling for 6 weeks and Ramya and her husband have been the nicest hosts. They always went out of their way to help us and even took us to see the local festival. The location is truly beautiful… Every day you have the best view with your breakfast and it feels like you live in the jungle. Very easy to get to ella city using the shortcut down the hill(stairs, took us around 20mins). I would recommend staying here to everyone!

We had an amazing time at the Ice Age Cottage. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, organizing a tour to the Diyaluma Falls for us, which was unforgettable. Every morning, we were treated to a different homemade breakfast, which truly elevated our experience and made our stay even more special. The cottage is cozy and well-equipped, and the view from the private balcony is simply stunning. There are also several excellent restaurants within walking distance, and it's quick and easy to reach the town center by Tuk Tuk. A perfect, peaceful retreat in Ella. We highly recommend it!

Amazing location with a superb view. We really enjoyed our stay here. We spent two nights and everything was perfect. The cottage is located 20 minutes from the city center in a quiet road with a beautiful view on the waterfall. The breakfast was really good and the host was very friendly and helpful. He supported us with renting a scooter and also with the laundry service. I can really recommend this place. They now have a second floor with an amazing room for 4 people, therefore convenient also to family.

We had an amazing stay at Ella Peaks Lodge. Even though it was just the two of us, they provided the entire apartment, fully equipped with everything we needed. This gave us complete privacy and the freedom to relax and enjoy our time. The place is well-maintained, cool, and very comfortable. *Writing on behalf of my friends who stayed here* Great location outside the city. Ella itself was so touristic and full of scammers, I'm very happy I stayed here away from the tourist traps. The location is close enough to the city, and I was paying about 700-800 rupees for tuktuks twice a day, which was really great. Overall I even saved money staying here, and it was a nice spacious house. Host was great, he brought us dragon fruit from his garden, which tasted amazingly.
