We had a great stay at Mica's apartment. 15 mins walk from the station easy access to the old city. Loads of restaurants, bars and grocery stores near by. Great to have access to a washer and drier. Highly recommend.

The host was easy to communicate once I made the booking. I landed at 1am and the keys were in safe lockers. So yes late check in possible . The owner was happy to give me an extended hour to check out. The entrance to the building is from the back. The rooms , bathrooms, living area , balcony were all super clean and huge. Lovely place, but I stayed there just for 10hrs for my sleep. Because you don’t interact with anybody, carry some change, 2 euro per person as city tax which you need to leave on the desk. It wasn’t explicit, so you need to . Landing after midnight at Bari can be tricky. We waited over 45mins for a taxi , who charged me €20. It is 20-25min walk and flat surface. I did not want to walk with my two young kids, so took a taxi. Next morning , I walked back and it was a brisk 15mins walk back to rental car agency. None of the rental car agency operate 24x7 and they don’t support late pickup post midnight. So this apartment is perfect.

Location is just on the city centre, just stone away from the old town. Apartment is newly renovated, with modern design and huge terrace. The apartment is well quilted for all kind of activities. Including family with kids. Host was all the time available for advice and really cared if we had everything needed during our stay. Additional thanks to the host, we had a surprise as a welcome drink. If we will ever come back to Bari, we will stay there again.
