We booked only 15 minutes in advance, so we were there before the owner even realised the booking. She took us to sit somewhere and gave us a complimentary drink and went to check things really fast. She was very apologetic and helpful to us, but we expected something like that to happen. We were very grateful for us to even be able to book so last minute. The room looked and smelled great, and everything worked as it should!! The owner was standing by to answer any questions or help with anything at all times, and she was very kind. There was also coffee, towels, drinks and a chocolate, and shower supplies.

Location on a quiet and cosy street with only short walk from city center is perfect. All necessary information was received from the host in a timely manner and the apartment itself was absolutely cute - interior design a well-mixed combination of Scandinavian simplicity and some rustic details. Kitchen was superbly equipped both with machines (dish washer, coffee machine with a timer etc.) and kitchenware (there was even even baking paper available!) and some basic food items like coffee powder, sugar, salt etc. Only one tiny detail was missing = the microwave cover (for easing up cleaning if one wants to heat up soup or smth with spillings). Apartment had both heat pump inverter/air-con AND central heating radiators - room temp was nicely already OK when arriving on a winter evening.

Very kind and helpful staff (shout out to Josie and Liam). Spotless and very comfortable room with en-suite shower and toilet.. Peaceful rural location just outside Mikkeli. 5 minute drive to the nearest supermarket (Sale). Excellent value for money.

The location and the setting. Room was spacious and had a small kitchenette. Old army barrack building redone as a hotel. Unique and cute!
