Kitchen is very well equipped! Bathroom too and bed very comfortable! The location is very special, in the middle of the very beautiful village directly at the quiet village square, great setting! Very friendly host! The shop nextdoor with all local products, selfpaying and 24h accessible, is very easy and very great!!

The location is a short distance out of town and away from any noisy roads so it was pleasantly quiet, a great view from the Apartment, nicely furnished and comfortable. We could go for a great hike further up the mountain, quick and easy and the host was very friendly and helpful with additional guidance.

Wanda was a wonderful host! We arrived late and did not have time to shop for food, so she gave our kids some of her cereal bars :) The property is located in a residential area, across the street from a park. It is very calm. You will need to drive (or public transit) to Locarno, but is close to the centre of Ascona and there are groceries a short drive away and easy access to other routes. The apartment was very clean and everything looks new. Our family of five was very comfortable there. We recommend!

The welcome, hospitality, location, facilities, cleanliness, quietness, tranqiility, view and the sound of the little mountain stream outside the window.. The photos are a true reflection. The owner collected me from the train and provided useful intormation explained bus routes etc. Nearest stop and mini market within 150m. Madonna del Sasso and Gondola Station a short walk away. I would highly recommend.

Location View from apartment Hostess -Esmeralda- who managed the property was incredible! She went out of her way to make the stay as comfortable for us as possible. I requested to order a cake for my dads birthday and she went above and beyond to sort that out. Property gorgeous! Huge two rooms and super clean. Views to the lake are stunning. The location is right in the middle of the central piazza area, very close walk to the station and easy to get to bus lines and the ferry. I loved my room, with one side facing into the beautiful private courtyard and the other overlooking the cute shopping street outside. Very nice kitchen, comfortable furniture. Barbara and Urs were so helpful in giving me advice about my trains, and very friendly and warm (comfortable communicating in English). I had my own table in the courtyard. Although there were other guests it stayed very quiet (doesn’t seem to be a party district) and I slept well every night. I would very happily stay here again in the future.

Breakfast was great, in particular local cheese, which I like but a lot was available, boiled eggs, bread and toppings, yogurt, cereals, coffee and much more. More me the location was perfect, because I needed to go to Monte Verità on a daily basis but I did not come by car. It is a much more difficult trip from the Ascona side up the hill. The staff were very polite and helpful, probably more so than in any other place I have been to. I even received a few locally made chocolate bars as a gift upon leaving. Because it is a rather small place and the staff is apparently multiple friends that run the business together, the staff-to-customer rate was extremely high. Because I was there for work, I really didn't have time to do things such as swim in the swimming pool, but the garden and pool area looked really nice.
