The room was very nice, modern and fully-fitted. Also spacious, it even offers a desk which was handy, not sure if they even mention this in the pitch. The building is new and modern, part of a large hotel, and even has a shopping gallery inside the building, so you do not even need to go outside for groceries or souvenirs. It is very close to a McDonald's (with McCafé) and a large supermarket with low prices. The parking is oficial and seems safe, even though you have to pay a (I say low) price to use it. It is the main hotel's parking lot and, as far as I could tell, has 24h security guard. The staff was very friendly and helpful, very quick to answer all questions and provided useful details and even pictures to help find the place.

Embassy Romana is a very well located self-service (no reception) hotel that is extremely clean, very quiet, and has spacious well-decorated rooms, comfortable beds, and a very convenient Nespresso coffee machines in the rooms. The office staff is receptive, and at my request, allowed me to stay in the same suite for the two additional time periods that I extended my stay there. Great job, Camelia! Other big pluses are refrigerators in the rooms, individual temperature controls in the living area and bedroom (if you have a deluxe room), flat screeen TVs, lots of closet space and spacious desks where you can fully open your luggage. Location is perfect...the Piata Romana subway station is right outside your door, and there are many coffee shops and eating venues at your doorstep. You are also just a short walk across the street from the Amezi neighborhood, with many different places to eat, two pharmacies, and two supermarkets (Mega Image), and a very popular patisserie. You are also very close to Calea Victoriei, one of the main boulevards, with many restaurants. bars, major tourist sights and three excellent ice cream/gelato shops. Anothet plus...spacious walk-in rainwater showets in the rooms. Embassy Romana will be my first go-to hotel for all future trips to Bucharest.
