Featuring 4-star accommodation, Studios by Aqua Natura Hotels is located in Porto Moniz, 100 metres from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools and 40 km from Girao Cape. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The aparthotel provides a sauna and a 24-hour front desk. Place was lovely, very modern clean rooms, everyday cleaning service, air conditioner. We’ve been welcomed with sparkling wine and left with goodbye gift. If you have a birthday, you may count on a sweet surprise. There was a mini bar, kitchen with microwave and electric plate and small fridge, also espresso maker with excellent quality of coffee, kitchen utensils allowed for some cooking. The view showed surrounding hotel and ocean in the distance. I really enjoyed the 2 min. walk to the rooftop restaurant for breakfast because the view is amazing from there. The breakfast offered wide variety of products and meals, with porridge and some things for sandwich ( cheese, ham or marmalade/nuttella, home-made yogurt). There were also couple of positions a la carte and lots of sweet options. Coffee was also of great quality. I can’t comment on most of the meals because I am vegan and none of the meals a la carte was vegan, also it was possible to eat a sandwich only with marmalade or tomato/pepper for me the rest was just cheese and ham. I saw many people including my partner enjoyed that a lot, but if you are following vegan diet it may be cheaper to skip the breakfast option and buy yourself pack of oats and fruits because coffee is in the room anyway. However, the restaurant view was outstanding and I quite enjoyed that restaurant anyway. They always had a plant based milk so at least a porridge and fresh maracuja. The roof jacuzzi looked autor louring but I didn’t used it, bathing robes are included though as well as a daily ticket to natural swimming pools. We preferred a bit more the cachalote pools that were nearby so didn’t use the it but is is a very nice option closer to the hotel. The hotel also offers spa and massage if someone wish, as well as a little cowork area if you work remotely. WiFi was also excellent. In general, it was excellent and I would totally recommend to everyone to stay there.

Located in Curral das Freiras and only 15 km from Marina do Funchal, Valley of Nuns Holiday Apartments provides accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. The aparthotel features family rooms. perfect location settle in the middle of the valley, near the bus stop and restaurants. The apartment was very big and clean and the owner of the place was very nice and friendly, also provided good recommendation regarding walks near by.

Located in Funchal, Apartments Madeira Old Town are a 5-minute walk to the beach and to the Funchal old town. Featuring free WiFi the apartments are 1.4 km from Funchal Marina and 1.9 km from Madeira Congress Center. Very friendly and helpful owner, provided us with free parking and the use of a pool, nice apartment in very good location in the old town at a great price. Would like to return.

This 4-star Funchal hotel is situated just 100 metres from the Atlantic Ocean. It offers 5 swimming pools, 4 restaurants and modern accommodation with kitchenettes and balconies.

The bright apartments and studios at The Residence Porto Mare each have a microwave, fridge and tea/coffee maker. Each en suite bathroom is stocked with a bathrobe, hairdryer and free bathroom amenities. The location is a perfect distance from downtown (Bolt/taxi or longer walk), Lido, Pingo grocery stores, and to Sao Martinho, where we visited Madeira friends. Plus, the hotel is just down one street level, accessed by a staircase to the right, that has great restaurants. Pools and grounds, including an orchard garden, and sunset views are incredible. Additionally, there is live music every night. The 4 foot flower arrangements in the lobbies are beautiful! One of our favourite places to stay on the island because of its lovely large grounds which also escapes the noise of island traffic. Lot's of hot water too. Highly recommend!

The family-run Vila Marta offers 8 self-catering studios featuring a seating area with a cable TV and a private bathroom with a bath, a hairdryer and free toiletries. Bed and linen are included and free WiFi is provided throughout the property. We stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn’t have chosen a better place. The hosts gave us a warm welcome with a taste of Madeira wine and made us feel at home right away. They were exceptionally kind and caring, even warning us about bad weather and making sure we were safe and comfortable. Every morning we received fresh bread, which was such a lovely touch. Everything was spotlessly clean, and we truly felt like we were coming home each day. On our last day, they even woke up at 3 a.m. to make sure we had no issues with the car and wouldn’t miss our flight, such incredible kindness! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Funchal!

Our stay at the villa was almost perfect. We really appreciated the absolute cleanliness of the room, its convenient location, and the hosts’ attention to detail. The delicious welcome gift was a pleasant surprise. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable long-term stay. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, which was also very important to us. The only aspects that could be improved are the quality of the bed linen (it felt quite synthetic to us) and the water supply.

All was absolutely incredible. Matthias is the kindest guest and his Qunita is a small piece of heaven on earth

The location is perfect – right in the heart of Funchal, close to everything. It made it so easy to explore the city and enjoy everything it has to offer. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Madeira!
