The grand mosque is within walking distance, also plenty of shops, but note that Muscat is not pedestrian-friendly (no sidewalks, or zebra crossings).

To compare with the price it’s really good, just i spend more than the room price for taxis from and to the airport, but it’s not there fault of course, Room so clean, what added more value to this hotel is the staff they’re really so helpful i requested things and they’re more than welcome to assist, i would love to say thanks for that person who checked me in from Bangladesh ( my apologies i forgot his name coz i was so tired ) also HK team I asked even for paper cups he could say we don’t have but that person was super to provide it, Over all it’s a simple hotel but you will not regret to stay there. If I could I'd give 10/5 for service :) the best hotel we stayed in during our entire trip to Oman, which was two weeks long so we have many hotels to compare :D Hotel staff goes above and beyond when it comes to helping with any questions. They took care of cleaning our rental car, provided a scale for checking luggage weight, and delivered extremely early breakfast to our room when we had a trip scheduled. You are also welcomed with many surprises like ability to choose your room, or fresh juice and snacks delivered to your room. They are extremely proactive and supportive which makes you feel like you're not just another client. Hotel location is good for snoorkling trip and airport connection, perfect spot to start or finish your Oman trip. There is a nice pool for afternoon relax abd rooms have a bathtub which to me was a nice surprise:) Forgot to mention - they also provide free airport shuttle. Do not hesitate to book your stay here!

Facilities include a microwave and a minibar. Great place with very helpful staff! It is close to the airport and within reach of the Al Mouj district.

Muscat Oasis Residence is centrally located in Bowsher area of Commercial District, adjacent to contemporary Panorama mall and only 10 minutes from Muscat International Airport and diplomatic area. The hotel features 3 swimming pools including an indoor pool exclusively for ladies. In addition it offers a fitness centre and a Turkish steam bath. I really liked the location, spacious rooms, modern furniture and kitchen appliances, and overall safety of the property.
