This was a wonderfully positive experience. We booked this as a quick overnight stop on the way back to Rome after a few days in Sicily. Our decision was based on proximity to the airport. The house, recently renovated, was stunning. Beautifully finished and clearly much-loved. We were upgraded upon arrival to an enormous suite with linving, kitchen, two bathrooms, a bedroom and a huge terrace with views of the mountains and the sea. The staff were tremendously pleasant, prepared a delicious breakfast and went the extra mile to make sure that we felt welcome and comfortable. The suite was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed to make the stay really special. The house is two minutes from the villlage centre. We had dinner in town at Frank's Pizzeria which was also really decent.

This was a lovely apartment, in a quiet area of Ortigia but also only 1 minute from the sea. The apartment was extremely clean and well thought out, design and appliance wise. The rooms were spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. It was in a great location, 5 minutes' walk to restaurants and the shopping streets but also very quiet. The sea was 50m away and it was lovely walking along the promenade in the early morning. Lidia and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast, though a small choice, was perfectly adequate and it was lovely siting outside in the courtyard having your coffee in the morning. Ortigia itself, is a lovely town with some great restaurants, upmarket shops and lots of history. I highly recommend Xenia Apartments and Suites and would definitely stay there again.

Our experience here was absolutely amazing! The apartments are spotlessly clean, modern, and fully equipped with everything you need. It felt both luxurious and comfortable. The private pool is a major highlight, especially if you want to skip the crowded public beaches. Since the complex is shared with only 2 or 3 other apartments, the pool was almost always empty, which made it feel even more exclusive. There’s a great bar on-site open from morning until evening, offering reasonably priced drinks. The bartender was incredibly friendly and even treated us to free coffee every morning, which was such a nice touch. The pool was always crystal clear, and we were lucky to have perfect weather throughout our stay. Location-wise, it’s ideal. Just a 1-minute walk across the train tracks via a small underground tunnel and you’re at the beach, restaurants, and shops. There’s also a pizza place just 20 meters away that delivers or allows pickup. We loved enjoying fresh pizza on our balcony. There are plenty of beaches around, both free and paid, along with restaurants and stores to explore. If you’re up for a bit of adventure, there’s a scenic 40-minute hike to Taormina town which offers stunning views as you ascend the mountain trail. A special mention to the owner, who kindly let us stay by the pool and use the changing room until the evening after checkout when we realized our flight was later in the evening. That extra bit of hospitality really stood out. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back soon!

We booked expecting a simple room, but were pleasantly surprised to find a full modern apartment instead! Spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal, there's a parking lot right across the street, and the city center is just a short walk away. A special shoutout to the receptionist, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Definitely recommended! we’d come back in a heartbeat!
