I booked East Residences for a night for me and my partner's anniversary. I called in advanced and the staff were kind enough to inform me that they can provide us with complimentary wine, but did let us know that they are more of a residential accomodation and not a hotel, meaning they were slightly more limited as to what they can provide.
At first my room had a couple of (unprecedented issues) like late check in, TV not working, and the residences not having ice to delivery to our room which you have to purchase from a nearby supermarket. My partner and I were hoping to make cocktails together and watch Netflix together. I was a bit concerned about our experience, but the staff were so incredibly kind with their willingness to address my issues, which I think is the most important of all.
They immediately called me to arrange a room upgrade for our special night, and went out of their way to provide us with ice and even a complimentary souflet despite not being all that equiped as a residential building. Even though I didn't expect it, I still appreciated how genuine and caring all staff were to make our anniversary extra special. For this reason I can't recommend East Residences enough! We had the most magical night.

My fiancé and I flew to Hong Kong to get married. We were searching for a 4-star hotel, and One-Eight-One offered the best cost and value. The room was clean, new, and spacious, with good shampoo and conditioner provided. On our registration date, we had booked a taxi for 8:30 am, but due to traffic, the taxi couldn't arrive on time. The hotel kindly offered us a ride instead, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated.

Good location, City Center in walking distance. A11 bus from/to the airport stops close by. We asked for a washing machine and a studio on one of the upper floors and are very happy and grateful that we got both :) the view is amazing! We stayed for three nights and would definitely stay again.

Our stay at this aparthotel was excellent! The location is great as very close to Central and Admiralty, being on the mid level means that we have great views from the cafe and the rooms.
The staff really made the place here, when we checked in Joanne was very helpful, every morning the cafe staff really made sure we had a nice time, even the cleaning attendants were great, always had a smile on their face.
Really good value for what's offered by this place.
