Today's owner Mr. Apostolos bought the property in 1985, an abandoned mansion dating back to 1830 where, with much love and passion, he refurbished it according to the style and colors of the island and turned it into a small Paradise. We have the Suite with a sea view. It was large and had so much space, we loved the seating are in the room and how the beds were on the loft upstairs. It had everything we needed. The breakfast was awesome and the staff was very helpful. 5 min walk from the center. We highly recommend it.

The hospitality at Port Vecchio Suites was just excellent. We were met at the dock by the owner Dimitris and he gave us great directions around the island during our stay. The hotel has a pool which I think is pretty unique compared to other places. Lastly Port Vecchio is located at the old harbor which is an easy 20 minute walk from the downtown area but has 2 restaurants and 4 bars there as well if you want to just hang there the whole time. There no shopping there but the location is great because it’s half way between the downtown and one of the good local beaches.
