The apartment was beautifully decorated, well equipped and in our case with big windows and a balcony facing the beach and sea with lovely views. Staff was very helpful and assisted with arranging bike rental. Bikes were delivered to us. Can totally recommend moving around by bike to go to restaurants, shops and beaches nearby and just to see all the beautiful streets and houses of the idyllic town. There are great bike lanes everywhere. Downstairs ice cream kiosk had delicious ice creams too. I will definitely stay here if I ever come to Arcachon again.

Lascaux IV Museum is 25 km away. We took the train to Sarlat, so we wanted a place that was in town and close to restaurants, groceries, and other shops, and La Villa des Consuls worked out great. Also, we got excellent references for what to do and how we might spend our time in town.

All of the accommodation at Résidence Hôtelière les Acanthes features an LCD TV and a kitchenette with a refrigerator. Each has a dining area and a private bathroom with a bath or shower. Excellent hospitality, very comfortable, delicious breakfast and beautiful relaxing interior design. Great location by the lake and short walk to the ocean beach. We will definitely come back for longer.
