Communication upon arrival was excellent, it was definitely one of the best hotels we stayed at during our trip.

This gem of a location offers pristine, untouched nature that takes your breath away. The house itself is utterly charming, featuring French-style apartments with magical views and terraces thoughtfully designed for relaxation, enjoyment, and creating unforgettable memories. The host is exceptional, clearly passionate about their work, which adds to the overall delightful experience. The beach and the people are equally wonderful, making this our favorite place of all time. We eagerly look forward to returning. ☺️

Beautiful apartment ideally located with a lovely pool. There were comfortable beds, great A/C, great towels and toiletries and everything was spotlessly clean. Kitchen was well eqipped. There is a lovely terrace out front with lots of chairs and a coupke of tables. We arrived before the 3pm checkin and had to come back after that, which is fine, but it seemed churlish not to allow us to park in the empty secure parking lot until that time.

The property offers soundproof units and is located 1.1 km from Las Galeras Beach. Upon booking, both the owner of the Villa and the manager (Gabi) (both of whom are amazing) reached out to make a personal contact and to offer help in anything we might need before we arrived. Their service only went up from there. Location, perfect. Comfort and cleanliness, perfect. Safety and security, perfect. Warmth and friendly helpfulness, perfect. If you are looking for an all inclusive resort experience with Golfing, breakfast buffets, and a fitness studio, this is not your place. If you are looking for an authentic Dominican vacation away from the throngs of tourists and away from the mayhem of urban centers, but where you also feel you have a secure oasis with access to the true nature and culture of the country, Garden Villa offers the perfect blend. It was our first time visiting the country. My wife and I travelled with our 4-year old daughter, and our experience could not have been better. This was in large part to choosing Las Galeras as our destination, and the Garden Villa as our home base. I was sad to leave, and I know exactly where I will stay when I can return.

Offering garden views, Doña Mayra Aparta Hotel is an accommodation located in Las Terrenas, 2.4 km from Bonita and 3.4 km from Pueblo de los Pescadores. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. The aparthotel provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. It was just myself and my 13 year old daughter so feeling safe was a really important detail. I wasn't sure at first as the outside of the property and the direct location was a bit questionable, but once inside the gate we felt very safe and secure. Our patio was wonderful, the pool was very nice and the breakfast was delicious. And the staff are all so friendly and accommodating.

There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The aparthotel features family rooms. Perfect location, close to everything. I personally have found it very peaceful, and I enjoyed the lack of "real windows", as it felt like sleeping in open air. You can hear some noises but fully managable and I slept like a baby. Yes there are some mosquitos but absolutely not dramatic, and they offer every possible remedies like electric bat or anti-mosquito smoker. Kitchen is well equipped, and there is a bidet in the bathroom. There are many cats in the garden, you can decide if it's a pro or con to you.
