Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Alte Bäckerei Königstein Aparthotel und Café provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. The property features mountain and river views, and is 1.5 km from Königstein Fortress. The aparthotel has family rooms. The place is very cosy, comfortable and freshly-renovated, at the very center of Königstein, with a view of the Königstein fortress. I chose it mainly because it was pet-friendly, and we traveled with our cat who turned out to be their first feline guest. The staff was really helpful, and accommodated all our requests, even helped me order a surprise birthday cake for my husband. Thank you to Sylvia for bearing with all my questions and showing incredible hospitality!

The host is totally amazing, we were enormously happy to be his guests. The interior of the property is just exceptional, like in real castle or something resembling it. After visiting lots of castles and museums with my family it was a great pleasure to spend coulple of the nights in a "museum" where you are not only allowed to touch the things around but also to have everything at your disposal. The location is also great for anybody looking for some rural and quiet surrounding with fields and plum trees around. Highly recommend the place.
