Amazing stay here in our own lodge. We stayed in split two levels lodge and it was an amazing two night experience. Beautiful bath tub and outside BBQ area. Staff were friendly. Saw Komodo dragon in the morning. Can get local tuktuks to the local store.

We only planned to stay at Villa Ciana for a day, but we loved it so much we stayed for a whole week! It's a beautiful place with amazing views in the middle of the rice field. Everything is new and modern. The rooms are well equipped and with AC and hot water ! We had a really relaxing time and could reach Unawatuna in a few minutes without being annoyed by the noise of the city.

Monkey Island is surrounded by nature, animals, birds, and beautiful views. The villa is located inland away from busy streets but within walking distance to the beach, cafes, restaurants and shops. The family owners are generous and always on hand if you need anything, but otherwise you're left to relax and enjoy your stay. This is a great place to stay long-term with fast wifi and fully equipped kitchen. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are big, bright, and spacious. Highly recommend this place to explore Hikkaduwa and the south of Sri Lanka 🇱🇰.

The location is perfect for families and people who want to enjoy the peace and quietness of the Sri Lankan nature (birds, monkeys,…) and still want to be in close walking distance to the beach. The clean facilities have been built recently and the family running the place is extremely nice and helpful. We always felt very safe!

The apartment boasts an excellent location – just a few steps away from the beach and numerous restaurants. Despite being close to the main street, the area is very quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay. The apartment is spacious, modern, and fully equipped, making it exceptionally comfortable. We particularly appreciated the functional and well-equipped kitchen, which allowed us to conveniently prepare meals on-site. An additional advantage is the presence of fans and air conditioning, ensuring comfort on hot days. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful – throughout our stay, they took great care of us, offering valuable tips about local attractions and readily assisting with organizing everything we needed. Staying here was an absolute pleasure. Highly recommended!

The apartment was super comfortable. I stayed with a friend, and it was spacious enough for 2 people: the bed is huge, we didn’t even notice each other’s presence while sleeping, the working desk has 2 chairs and good lighting from the window. The internet was great, I could send some big files within an hour. We didn’t cook, so we didn’t have a chance to check the cooking facilities, but there were enough utensils for us, a kettle for hot water and a fridge. Also it has a stove, but as I’ve mentioned, we didn’t use it. The bathroom is modern. The AC worked perfectly. And one of the most important facilities was the washing machine. There are a few good cafes/restaurants in the area, and a surf spot Lazy Left/Right are 5 min walking distance. The host was available at all times providing necessary help. Very grateful for my stay! Definitely coming back next year.
