Highly recommend! Stayed for 3 nights in December. Peaceful spot overlooking rice paddy fields to the front and rear. Spotlessly clean and very stylish rooms. A small pool to take a dip in or laze beside. The cafe downstairs is open 8-4, so other holiday makers come for the beautiful coffee and or food and will often stay to use the pool too. 15 minute walk to the lovely Kabalana beach where you can rent surfboards etc. Loads of good food spots in the area. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location is perfect for families and people who want to enjoy the peace and quietness of the Sri Lankan nature (birds, monkeys,…) and still want to be in close walking distance to the beach. The clean facilities have been built recently and the family running the place is extremely nice and helpful. We always felt very safe!

We only planned to stay at Villa Ciana for a day, but we loved it so much we stayed for a whole week! It's a beautiful place with amazing views in the middle of the rice field. Everything is new and modern. The rooms are well equipped and with AC and hot water ! We had a really relaxing time and could reach Unawatuna in a few minutes without being annoyed by the noise of the city.

A nice cozy place, with nice, caring hosts who can help with everything! The room is quite spacious, with its own kitchen. The place where the house is located is really quiet and peaceful, which I really liked.

We came to stay for a few weeks and ended up staying about 3 months! The building is basically brand new and is clean, comfortable and dry. Air con works great (and there is a fan above the bed also), and the fibre WiFi is super quick. The bed is comfortable and the room is quite dark for anyone who likes a sleep in. The hot water is good, and the kitchen comes equipped to make meals at home. There is also a communal washing machine to use, and drying racks on the roof. The host is amazing - very responsive on WhatsApp and happy to help out with anything. The location is great - maybe 10 minutes walk to the beach, but far enough away so you can't hear the road or the trains, and the music from party nights hardly reaches. All in all a great stay and will definitely stay again!

The apartment boasts an excellent location – just a few steps away from the beach and numerous restaurants. Despite being close to the main street, the area is very quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay. The apartment is spacious, modern, and fully equipped, making it exceptionally comfortable. We particularly appreciated the functional and well-equipped kitchen, which allowed us to conveniently prepare meals on-site. An additional advantage is the presence of fans and air conditioning, ensuring comfort on hot days. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful – throughout our stay, they took great care of us, offering valuable tips about local attractions and readily assisting with organizing everything we needed. Staying here was an absolute pleasure. Highly recommended!

The room was really big and the place was beautiful. It also has a kitchen that you can cook and prepare your meals and washing machine too. Everything was working perfect, well located, and the owner was super nice, giving us a lift for picking a bike.
