The onsen was amazing! Large rooms, very clean and well equipped kitchen. It’s obviously marketed towards car-travelling visitors, but if you know about the free local bus it’s also very convenient without a car (timetable attached). You have to take the taxi for large luggage.

MR. TOMO KAWANA is located on the seafront in Ito, a few steps from Kawana Beach and 28 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay.

This place is a hidden gem, the apartment was super comfy and very modern yet traditional, the view is absolutely outstanding of the castle and the staff were very accommodating.
