We had a lovely apartment and our balcony had the morning sun, so we were able to have breakfast outside in march.

The Garni Villa Siesta Park is a hotel in Losone, a 15-minute walk from Ascona. It features a huge flower garden and a barbecue area.

Breakfast was great, in particular local cheese, which I like but a lot was available, boiled eggs, bread and toppings, yogurt, cereals, coffee and much more. More me the location was perfect, because I needed to go to Monte Verità on a daily basis but I did not come by car. It is a much more difficult trip from the Ascona side up the hill. The staff were very polite and helpful, probably more so than in any other place I have been to. I even received a few locally made chocolate bars as a gift upon leaving. Because it is a rather small place and the staff is apparently multiple friends that run the business together, the staff-to-customer rate was extremely high. Because I was there for work, I really didn't have time to do things such as swim in the swimming pool, but the garden and pool area looked really nice.

Very quiet neighbourhood, great for families with children. Very kind staff. Good breakfast, there could be more vegetables but otherwise fresh and tasty. Rooms very spacious.

Just loved the light, spacious 50 m2 apartment (an upgrade at no extra costs) with a great 180 degree view on both the lake 'Lago Maggiore' as well as as the mountains. There was an overall very pleasant vibe in the hotel and staff was super friendly. Breakfast was good too and the breakfast room (=restaurant) had a great ambiance thanks to the glass ceiling and half-circle shape. Location was pretty unbeatable, like an island in the center of Locarno.

The fully renovated studio apartment was in a great position a minute walk from the Grande Piazza, with large windows and a sit-down balcony. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, cooktop and coffee machine was a welcome extra. Ideal for a couple staying in Locarno for several days/ week. Parking in the Schloss grounds is right next to the front entrance.

Resort Al Centro, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in Breganzona, 1.9 km from Lugano Station, 4.1 km from Exhibition Center Lugano, as well as 10 km from Swiss Miniatur.

This guesthouse is very well designed and build. The room is lovely, bed is comfortable, shower great. With a small kitchenette that’s hot all you need. Before you arrive from the north you drive through industrial parts but then in the last bit you’re suddenly in this cute little village! The people are very nice. Nice checkin system with a code and lovely honesty shop downstairs. Very well recommended!

Excellent location walk to station with luggage. Apartment has everything you need with good security. Spotless and well maintained apartment and building. Staff provided great instructions for self access. No toilet paper provided on arrival had to go and buy own.
