good variety of breakfast. very close to station, easy for shinkansen day-trip and Haruka-train to airport. free luggage storage room. small room but enough space to open luggage on the floor and then push the luggage partly underneath the bed for more space. complete amenities like APA hotels chain.
This is an interesting hotel, I believe previously part of the Hyatt chain but now under its own brand? Spacious room for Japanese standard, great view to the Osaka bay, amazing decor in the lobby. Walking around the hotel feels like you are in a world of its own. Great bus shuttle services into central Osaka and airport.
The beds were comfortable and the location was amazing, the staff were beautiful, friendly and very accommodating (as has been with all japanese customer service during our stay). I did start reading some of the paraphernalia left in the room by the owner of the chain and it came to my attention that the owner of the company is a far right lunatic and denyer of such atrocities such as the rape of Nanking and other assorted, documented and we'll witnessed war crimes. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Shame for his staff as they were amazing.
Once you have stayed at an APA hotel, you have stayed at all of them. Meaning, you understand the concept of a small room, basic amenities and basically a place to sleep but not spend the day. This APA hotel matches all of that, extra is the public Japanese bath and decent restaurant. It's also right outside of the Osaka Metro with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby.
Great location located near Shin-Osaka Station, very convenient for travel to locations like Kyoto or for Shinkansen. Short walk to other lines for about 20-30 min ride to Namba/Osaka Station (for Den Den Town or Dottonbori) or to Nara. My 2nd APA hotel during my first trip to Japan, seems like a reliable hotel chain. There is a vending machine for milk right outside the onsen on the 2nd floor. The TV in the room also had casting and free VODs. There are also quite a few familymart convenience stores and other restaurants nearby.
We love staying at APA hotel chains! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Within a good walking distance to train stations. The beds are comfortable. We were able to store our bags for the day when we checked out.
PERFECT location, easy to access Nankai(to KIX), Kintetsu(to Nagoya, Nara or Shima), Hanshin(to Kobe) and Osaka subway. PERFECT shopping area, included 2 Don Quijote, Takashimaya and "tons of" duty free stories. PERFECT eating options, both Japanese local cuisine or fast food chains, Asian, Western, even Michelin stars. Big rooms as capsule standard. Lockers for shoes and your room; there're safe near the counter.
APA Hotels are always great, especially the ones that have Japanese-style baths / onsen. Conveniently located and value for money.
This is the second time I choose APA Hotel, this one is a huge and good place. Just 2min walk from Hommachi Station, really convince to everywhere. We walked to Shinsaibashi and just took about 15min. They also offer a big spring bath in the basement!! It was amazing after a whole day outside and enjoy your Japanese-style bath!! Also, the price is good. It's definitely a hotel I will choose when I visit Japan next time!
