Our stay was absolutely incredible. We were greeted with the lovely reception at the pier after a very comfortable short trip via speedboat. We then enjoyed the brand new beautiful, spacious and quiet over-water villa with a wonderful sunset view and private pool. Ibrahim was our host during our stay - he was always available when we needed him and exceeded with everything we asked for! From helping us get to places, sorting restaurant reservations, to giving us tips for snorkeling spots and having answers to all our Maldives-related questions. The resort and facilities were perfect - all restaurants were amazing, especially Baan Huura and Origami. Roshan and Sony at Origami truly made our night special. For people that like activities, there is more than enough to chose from. We really can't wait to be back. All in all a perfect place to stay and relax and enjoy time away from a busy time at home.

We spent two nights in a garden villa at Kandooma at the end of a two-week stay in the Maldives and absolutely loved it (after a week on a small liveaboard and a second week on a lovely local island). Kandooma’s pool was massive and fantastic, the surrounding waters and beach were stunning, the breakfast buffet was sumptuous, beach bar cocktails were delicious and the food in the restaurants was tasty, particularly at Bokkurra Coffee Club. Staff were attentive and hard working and the island is kept clean and pristine. It had all the facilities we could ask for, at a lower price than the more expensive resort islands. The resort’s speedboat transfer cost was USD$150 each return (a little over 30 mins in calm conditions), and was more comfortable than a standard speedboat experience. We would love to have spent a little longer at this gorgeous place.

Facing the beachfront, Sun Siyam Olhuveli offers 4-star accommodation in South Male Atoll and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and garden.

We stayed in an overwater bungalow for 3 nights and it was spectacular! The views, room, facilities, staff, food... Never have we had a better experience!

We had a great time at this wonderful resort. It is only some 45 mins by boat from Male. The staff are extremely kind and courteous. The team responsible for sea excursions is very informative and helpful. The restaurant provides a great variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were booked at half board and there were plenty of options to have a snack during the day at very reasonable prices. The room had all the needed amenities and was cleaned twice a day. Each room had its allocated sun beds in an idyllic environment. It takes around 15/20 minutes to walk around the island to see nature at its best. The sea immediately around this island is already beautiful to swim in and snorkel. The excursions to nearby reefs add to the experience of seeing turtles, mantas, harmless nurse sharks and all kinds of colourful fish (some of which can be seen in the vicinity of the hotel) . The island is very welcoming, well kept and very clean. A place to revisit time and time again.

Super hotel, close to Male with beautiful house reef. Everything exceeded our expectations: nice sky room, very good breakfast and for dinner and lunch we tried all restaurants but our favorite was Terra&Mare - the best. We enjoyed snorkeling at house reef - a lot of different fishes, we even saw a turtle/shark/sting ray

The best resort we have been so far in Maldives, the staff and nature the resort the buffet everything was brilliant, the food was very delicious in Vela, we loved everything, thank you dr Hassan for sharing videos on instagram, the videos were the reason we chose this resort. If you are reading this comment dont event hesitate to book your stay, you will have a vacay in heaven with the best staff evet, all of them are so happy, smiley, friendly and helpful even the gardener I have never seen such happy staff in Maldives, thank you so much Vellasaru we will definetely come back❤️❤️❤️
