I arrived at Porto Platanias Beach Resort & Spa on the 1st day of the season. The staff were so kind and welcoming, everyone was smiling and helpful. The hotel is huge, there are a lot of buildings and swimming-pools, but it's easy to find your way around. I spent an amazing time in the Sparkling Spa, the whole facility is divine, especially the pool and the hydromassage. Dinner was served on the 1st floor of the restaurant with a beautiful view over the hotel's beach and Theodorou Island. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet, the meals were delicious, especially the salads and deserts. ( I loved the orange cream! ) They offered Greek specialities, too. I got some Easter presents: "tsoureki" ( milkbread ) and Easter candles. This was a really nice touch. All in all, the hotel is great, but the kind and attentive staff make it even greater. I loved my short holiday at Porto Platanias and will definitely return.

Beautiful, very clean hotel in a great location, with amazing kind and nice employees, the free parking was convenient, and the complimentary WiFi worked flawlessly. The restaurant offered a diverse menu and the bar by the pool was a great place to socialize and enjoy a refreshing drink.

Just 200 metres from the beach of Platanias, Porto Platanias Village Resort is a village-style complex featuring stone-paved paths, gardens and a lovely swimming pool.

The hotel was a real highlight of our one-week stay in Crete! Everything was just amazing. Upon arrival we (my husband and I) were told that our room in Porto Platanias Village Resort was upgraded to a superior suite with private pool in another hotel of this hotel network - Porto Platanias Beach Luxury Selection. This was a surprise to us! Our room was very spacious and clean with a nice terrace, which had a table, armchairs, small sofa, a private pool and four sunbeds. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was just beyond our expectations. The buffet was diverse, the food - delicious, and the seaview from the restaurant's window was really breathtaking. Everyday we were looking forward to our meals:) We would definetely recommend this hotel for a holiday stay!

Staff were really friendly, helpful and welcoming. They took very good care of us! Food was excellent. There was a great choice in the main restaurant and all the food was prepared and seasoned really well.

Beautiful and big hotel. Good food and amazing staff, so kind specially Nikos. They made the stay so much better! You have everything in reach. Perfect location. A little store inside the hotel area, playground. Definitely recommend families to stay at this hotel. So relaxing. I will definitely go back!

Excellent hotel both for its facilities and staff. Amazing breakfast with great variety of choises for all tastes - complementary fresh orange juice and all types of coffees. Professionalism and hospitality of the staff were beyond all expectations. The room was really spacious with all necessary needed. Overall an unforgatable experience.
