The breakfast was very good, the chef is excellent. We also enjoyed our dinners, my sons enjoyed their meals. The location is excellent, we managed to see the hippos during the night grazing, lions and leopards hovering around the night and waterbucks are always on site. The songs of birds during the morning are amazing. I like to bush location where you can dine with nature. The workers were very helpful they took us for Kariba village tour and fishing. I will definitely go back there and i recommend people to use the facilities. There are also indoor activities that is convenient if you do not want to leave the lodge.

Boat Cruise and the Lake Parachute were excellent, Would have liked to see species like Lion, Leopard or such other species rather than the common Zebra, Water buck. elephants etc. Could you please consider putting a few of these in a zoo like place. We had a game drive but only saw their footmarks

Savinga isn't a town.
Savinga isn't a town. It is a village, typical fo African countries. It is small, people trade in the streets. There is 1 bank here, 2 grocery shops and you can walk around in 30 min. But you don't come here for the village, you come to enjoy spectacuar Lake Kariba which is big like a see and very beautiful. Don' go in! Crocs live here and hippos.

We stayed for one night as we were catching the ferry across Kariba. Kariba is part of a reserve and as such, all animals are free to traverse all properties. We loved this connection with the wildlife.

Just right location for relaxing .
Just right location for relaxing . Suitable for Families and couples . It could do better in directions towards the properties. The boat cruise was fantastic with good guide tours . The properties could have more amenities and entertainment for their guest during the day with some activities in place .

We loved our one night here. Traveled as a group with 5 large overlanding rigs and the Fisherman’s Cove portion of the hotel was perfect! Great view of the lake with friendly staff and fresh water to wash our cars and replenish our watertanks. The only minor problem was that the hot water system was not working. But the property was great, the food at the bistro was basic but very well prepared and we loved the fresh Kariba bream and chips. Cold beers, pool and all round perfect stop, thanks to Mark and his team!
Breakfast was great. Staff were really helpful. And the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all facilities operable. Great view across the lake. And the hotel facilitated a great sunset boat trip on Lake Kariba.
