Our host was so kind to us! She takes much time to gave us some informations and at our departure she gave us some snacks for the road. We loved our stay here in this cute apartment. Feels like home! Really pretty location to stay for visiting the De Hoop Nature Reserve (45 minutes by car)

The outside Braai area was great for our family as we were a fairly big group and made the most of that area. Also, the open plan kitchen allowed for even the ladies to enjoy :) We have been coming to Arnistan with my Parents since our childhood and visit often but first time at this house. Will definitely make use again when we are a bigger group.

The best thing about Dinkys Place is when you get there, you're on holiday, but you still feel at home.
Lovely family house, well lived in, on the sea...the best place in the whole of Arniston

Comfort, peace & bird song. The cottage is tastefully furnished and designed to make you feel at home. Little extras such as home made rusks and olives make you feel welcome. With Vicki you leave as friends. Thank you.

A beautifully quaint fishing village - feels far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Quite a few options to have a meal, including Willeen's, which is in Kassiesbaai with an amazing view of the beach and ocean. Bonus is that you have multiple options to swim in the area with at least 4 beaches to enjoy.

A lovely little town which we visit every year to take part in the Voet of Afrika race.
It could really do with some nice restaurants though...
On a Saturday night only 1 restaurant open (former Flames grill) and was empty!

Loved going back in time in this small fishing village.
Loved going back in time in this small fishing village. Dont forget to buy all your food and drinks because there is not a lot you can buy in Arniston. And also having cash is good as there is no cash point anywhere. Local liquor store that is at the back of hotel tho has enough drinks but selection is obviously not as good as in Bredarsdorp closest place to do big shopping.

This was my 1st visit to Bredasdorp and because I was nervous about travelling with my dog, I didn't spend much time in the town itself. Of what I did see, I was impressed as it's well developed with all amenities.

Breakfast buffet and beaches were lovely.
Breakfast buffet and beaches were lovely. The arniston cave is a beauty and must see. It is a bit scary going to the cave. We did not have time to walk around in the neighbourhood but the place seemed quiet and safe.
We visited Cape Agulhas and there were more restaurants nad food options. Arniston does not have a variety of lunch and supper options for our pallet. The spa at Arniston is also great.
The lamb shank is delicious at Arniston. I would have like a bigger variety with the pizza options.
I would advise people to visit the beaches, go to the smaller towns in the area to get to know the peolple better.

The town is very clean and has all the major retailers there and a few restaurants. Many of the houses are beautifully maintained with lovely gardens. The Shipwreck Museum is excellent and well worth the low entrance fee.
