The staff members were all friendly, we felt at home. The chef did an exceptional work, we loved his food The tour guide Mr Lovers was really friendly and knowledgeable, best game drive ever

I liked the fact that it is inside a reserve with animals (not the big 5 though) walking around freely. The facilities and personalized service was also very good.

The tour of the place at the beginning was a good touch with someone available on arrival. The place is well stocked and inviting for a relaxing time at the Den. Hosts were extremely friendly, quick to respond and happy to help where possible. Animal viewings in the morning were unexpected treat!

What a fantastic lodge this is, super comfy room with the best outdoor shower of Africa (love it 🚿). Great food, very friendly staff and perhaps most of all, giraffes 🦒 walking around your room. Highly recommended 👌

Lynne runs her lodge in a highly professional, efficient and friendly way. Pick up from Hoetspruit airport was perfect and reliable. While travelling to the lodge Lynne showed me more of Hoetspruit, like restaurants, shops etc. Breakfast: very delicious! nicely prepared. Location: restaurants are not far away, but I as I remember not easy to walk to. Cleanliness: just perfect. Room: facilities in perfect condition, bed confortable, bed and room spacious. Nice Terrace belonged to the room. Wild animals could be seen from there in the afternoon. First wildlife during my stay in SA! Honresty bar available besides the swimming pool.

I stayed here for 5 nights, sun-friday. Overall amazing place to stay in the wildlife estate! -Easy communication with whatsapp with the host. I mentioned i would be early, around 12 pm, and asked if i could just drop off my suit case and walk around while cleaners finish, it was ok. I left and walked around the estate a little and already ran into many animals. returned and they were just finishing up cleaning at 2pm, and chatted with natasha about the estate and the house. keys were on the table, 3 keys, 1 front door, 2 back door, and 3 for lappa (BBQ outdoor room). -There is a gate and a code needed to enter the estate, they sent me it on whatsapp and it worked every day until friday, it expired. The gate is automated for vehicles (or you can talk to person too), but the pedestrian gate is always in person, not automated. -There is 5 bedrooms, 3 on the main level, and 2 upstairs including the master bedroom. All the rooms are very nice, well decorated, but i only used the master bedroom upstairs. The master bedroom bathroom was great, 2 showers and tub. The view from the 2 balconys was very nice sunset/rise. I didnt use the pool but its a nice feature of the house. I tried to make a fire in the fire pit but it never would stay lit, i think because i was useing the fire thing instead of building fire on the cement in the fire pit. I didnt use the Lappa, or bbq room, but it would be amazing for a family or groups to use while sitting on the deck. The kitchen is fully equipped, big fridge with brita water filter water cooler built in. Smart TV with access to netflix and youtube, etc.. A very nice washing machine for clothes. It might have had a drying ablity too, but i used the outdoor clothes line, about 20 min in the sun and dried. nice gravel driveway and covered car ports. And even a playground for children.

Very calm, feels like home. The staff felt like family, we were taken care of like royalty. The room was very clean and spacious. As soon as Rheni knew about our honeymoon he made sure to focus on the smallest details to make our stay romantic and enjoyable. Precious was amazing at serving us during dinner and breakfast , very smiley! the mama in the kitchen really put their heart in the amazing food they cooked for us ! Definitely coming back!

We liked everythg. It was the perfect spot to rest and recover from 2 days of flying to south Africa. Food was great and the surroundings were peaceful and relaxing. Can't recommend highly enough and a fabulous start to our holiday
