This was the most magical trip and we highly recommend Buffelshoek Tented Camp! Dudley and Lynn are so amazing in welcoming guests and making the stay absolutely amazing. The guides for the game drives are fabulous! Both Beckson and Elvis were so committed to making sure we saw all that we wanted to, even if it meant driving across the reserve! We saw the big 5 and so much more! We had shared that we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and they helped make it such an incredibly special day for us. On that evening we also had an elephant visit the camp! Wow!! This was definitely a bucket list trip for us and it far surpassed what we dreamed it was going to be!

Mzsingitana Tented Camp – A Sustainable Safari Haven in Manyeleti, Kruger Nestled on the edge of the Manyeleti Game Reserve, Sabi Sands, and the Kruger National Park near Hoedspruit, Mzsingitana... Very well tended camp in the bush, close to Kruger and several other game reserves. Owner Bhili and staff are very friendly, lovely people. Lloyd cooks delicious breakfast and dinner and is a thoughtfull host. The camp is solar powered so there is no problem with load shedding. Dinner is served in a traditional boma with a fire in the middle. Bhili is a great storyteller and also a very experienced guide with extensive knowledge about animals, birds and plants. The gamedrives where spectacular! The beds are very comfortable, the tents and common areas are very clean and well maintained. Remember you are in the bush in the middle of nature, keep your tent closed or you may have roommates with four or more legs!

The camp is located within the Manyeleti reserve (it’s not easy to find on the gps, but is very well indicated as from the moment you arrive at the gate). We saw animals as from the moment we passed the gate : zebras on the road, elephants roaming around the swimming pool (they were there every day of our stay!). We were afraid of not seeing many animals because we came in the rain season (January) but we saw the Big 5 in 3 game drives! Devance was an excellent guide and we learned a lot about the area thanks to his broad knowledge. The food was excellent, and they even organised a special braai for New Year’s Eve.

We loved Inyati! An incredible setting with lovely facilities. Our room was gorgeous and was kept exceptionally clean and tidy by the housekeeping team. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and served with a smile. Our ranger Mike and tracker Solly were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful. They made our game drives a wonderful experience. We saw and learnt so much. Thank you to everyone at Inyati for making our stay super special and a particular thank you for the kind gesture of champagne to celebrate the special (60th) birthday I had this year.

The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. As there are only a few tents, they get to know your name and preferences and it feels like a home away from home. The accommodation is super clean, comfortable and exactly what you need for your visit. The common area had a wonderful pool and bar, where you can watch the wildlife pass by as you relax and unwind. The game drives start early in the morning, and it can be cold, but you are provided with warm fleece blankets as well as ponchos for when it rains. Both our guides (Pieter and Capps ) are very knowledgeable and good fun - they really look after us and engaged in conversation while on drives sharing their passion for the area. The coffee and drink stops were a highlight as well. We cannot rate this place highly enough and hope to return sometime in the future, l Thank you to everyone at Umkumbe for making this such a memorable experience and making us feel like more than just guests.
