Nana is the best host! Super chilled, as the hostel, I went during low season so had the dorm for myself, loved the location as it’s quiet and a perfect base to explore the island, north south east all within an hour’s ride. Rented bike with Nana, too easy. Bathrooms outside are self cleaning (with the rain :) ), the sounds of nature amazing, great experience, ended up staying waaay longer than planned.

I like everything here. It's a quite location, modern room, everything works excellent. Every day was cleaning service, refilled water, air conditioning system works excellent, bed was very comfortable. Also I rented a scooter - it was a good price and quality. The stuff is amazing here - they are very kind and friendly people. Highly recommend this place.

Everything about Phu My Hung was wonderful. The pool is fabulous. Location is perfect for getting around the Island with its central location, but away from the hustle and bustle. The bungalows are all on the ground level and set around the pool. The kitchen is well equipped, with a large fridge freezer and ample pots, pans and dishes. WiFi is great with routers in every room.
The family who own the business couldn’t be more helpful and kind. The staff are great and everything is very well maintained and clean.
Guests are friendly, with lots people staying a month or even longer due to the unbeatable price to amenity ratio. The environment is laid back and it has a very homely feel. There were people of all ages and nationalities. I stayed a month and my daughter and friend joined me for 15 days. We all loved our stay. As a seasoned traveller, I’d rate it high up there with the best budget places I’ve stayed longer term in Asia.
I’ll definitely be back and am sorry to leave as Phu My Hung was the highlight of my month in Phu Quoc.

Very clean, spacious and modern room and bathroom. Close to airport and Bai Vong pier. Hotel is part of an education facility and staff is eager to learn and facilitate. We had a very good night’s sleep even though some planes flew over. So no worries about that.

The main town is fairly average, not particularly pretty. OK food options, big range but average quality and expensive (tourist / island) prices compared to HCM. Too many noisy doof-doof nightclubs along the beach ruin the chance for a relaxing sleep. Leave it for the backpacker revellers. Many accommodation options seem run down. Plenty of Russians around, this rarely improves the ambiance in my experience.

Phu Quoc completely won me over.
Phu Quoc completely won me over. It’s the perfect blend of calm beaches, local life, and beautiful nature. What I loved most was the slower, more peaceful rhythm - quiet villages, friendly people, and spots where you can still feel the island’s authentic charm. The beaches are stunning, the food is amazing, and getting around by bike or scooter makes exploring easy and fun.
If you’re looking for a place to unwind, enjoy simple moments, and escape the crowds, Phu Quoc is an incredible choice. I’m already looking forward to coming back.
