stay for a night prior to flying,,, location was close to airport and walking to distance to a couple restaurants.

Absolutely everything! Harry the owner and his wife are incredibly helpful and so friendly, we had great chats and they were very accommodating for all my needs.
The whole place is very clean, amazing beautiful clean pool (like insanely clean!!!) and fantastic view from the patio!
I booked an economy room with AC which was perfectly sized for me (but option to upgrade to one with a balcony too) I was happy with a shared bathroom as it was cleaner than other places where you have a private one! Honestly I never had to wait to use it and was very impressed at the high standards of cleaning. Plus little sweet touches of soap bars etc in case you forgot yours.
The free breakfast was a great addition, good coffee and some vegan options which was appreciated!
The location is perfect, situated just a 2 minute walk uphill from the main street and right next to the 99 steps! Honestly you should choose this place, I'll definitely be coming back and when you go say hi to Cornelius the philosophic gardener, he's a gem of a human! ☺️

Very easy to get to from the airport. Walking distance. You really don't even hear the planes takeoff. The hotel is older so don't expect the grays and golds that are in right now. More grandma's house style. The staff is great. The pool is small but has a great view. The bar area also has a restaurant. The price is affordable and you could not even have to leave.

Clean little sea side town (I stayed downtown). Great vendors in market, green bay restaurant and 578 had hot meals with 4/5 taste for me. Safari bus ($2) good easy to get around if you want to see city and go to some local places, pick up a map in the tourist welcome center downtown. Better yet ask a local. Everyone I met was friendly and willing to answer questions/give directions. Take the safari bus to Red hook, catch the ferry ($9.15 with tax) and see St john island. State park there with beautiful beach, local raci needed to access it though.

Got no channels but couldn't stay in no A/C only bedroom with very hard bed old dressers yo put your clothes in that were hard to open and clothes..The view was also from this room with no A/C. So we didn't even use it just bedroom and bathroom

The middle of nowhere, which is great in St. Thomas if you drive a tank. Not so kind on a rental. But you can disappear very well if you so choose, and in the process get some of the most spectacular views - ever.

Location is not good during seaweed months. Beach on property is unusable. Coki Beach was not as described in reviews. Resort was fine. Loved the upper pool, view was fabulous. A few nights is more than enough. Taxi rides get expensive if you go off property to eat.

Would definitely return again. This was second trip to emerald beach. Walked the whole beach many times- pure relaxation! Preferred staying at resort with all the water sports offered them venturing into busy downtown

The hotel was close to the cruise port. It was a bueatiful backdrop. I was there for a short period, I just wanted to go somewhere different and I accomplished my goal. I was there by myself and felt safe. I caught several taxis, when to call a taxis, your taxis has people going other people going in the direction you are, and it’s per person. They’re not a lot of places to park. The streets are very busy.

The view great. The hot tub was hot. The house is well used, could use a little freshening up, but it really was a great place to spend the night. Isolated from restaurants so come prepared to call a taxi or bring your own food up the mountain. So quiet and peaceful. Will rent again!

must use shuttle service to get around premises. . no shops or entertainment on property. Nothing in walking distance... plan on taxi service to come and go off property... bring plenty of cash. Food is below average.

One day was enough there it was nice to see the beach but don’t offer much at all, people there are not very friendly in day crowd, definitely early morning or later evening spot. Definitely would stay anywhere beside emerald beach resort if ever had to stay that way again. Food was WAY over priced for what it was. It was decent food but price was insane comparing to other places we ate and what we paid.
