Wonderful stay ! The room was clean, warm, it had a big bathroom with hot shower, we had
a TV to watch netflix and prime video, a small fridge, and the breakfast was a buffet with a lot of choice. The staff was another highlight of our stay, they were really nice and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel if you want to have the BEST STAY in Ferghana !

Fergana City is a peaceful gem in Uzbekistan's Fergana Valley, known for its lush parks, friendly locals, and rich cultural heritage. It’s a perfect base for exploring nearby Margilan's silk workshops and Rishtan's ceramics. The city offers delicious Uzbek cuisine and a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing stay and authentic cultural experiences.

A really friendly city, several passers-by would greet us with 'Welcome to Uzbekistan!'. We really enjoyed checking out the market, taking a masruka to get around, and learning more about the local crafts by staying in Ikathouse, visiting Yodgorlik Silk workshop to learn how silk is made, and visiting the converted Masdrassa where a crafts development centre has been established. Happily could have spent more time there as it was simply a relaxing place to be, and felt less tourity. Rishton is nearby with amazing pottery too!
We walked across the border from Osh, and took a public bus to get here, which was fairly straight forward.

Fargana is one of those spots that people usually dont visit in Uzbekistan. As it is far from the main attractions in Samarkand and Bukhara.
Yet, Fargana and the nearby city of Margilan have a lot to offer, with local craftsman, tea house to enjoy an amazing Fargana Plov, to enjoy the nature and also the fruits of this man made fertile valley.
Great experience and i will love to go back to this Place.

Marghilon quite an uneventful city, there aren't much restaurants and there is not much to do except visit the two silk factories. From here we took a day trip to kokand, which is much nicer. stay there and take a day trip to Marghilon instead!

Definitely a hidden gem. There was so much to see. The people are exceptionally hospitable. The Kumtepa Bazaar was one of the most amazing shopping experiences. The food was also delicious. I would highly recommend visiting.
