What can I say. When I travel .

What can I say. When I travel . I’m just interested in how my y bed is gonna be for sleeping. This was just fine. I’m gone all day and some of the evening. Only use for shower and sleep . So fb me thus was just fine for my expectations.

While we were in town for a funeral the overall experience...

While we were in town for a funeral the overall experience made this sadden trip easy. We didn’t have to worry about issues with the home. Location was great. It quiet and private, exactly what we needed during this hard time for our family. The host was genuine and caring and went above and beyond to help ease our anxiety, stress, and sadness. They were an absolute delight to plan with.

We only stayed at the hotel and didn't see much of the town.

We only stayed at the hotel and didn't see much of the town. From the drive through experience it's pretty small and about 10 miles away from the ocean. I've heard they have a good steak house, but it was really expensive and we decided to eat near the beach at Moro Bay instead. We came to the area to visit the ocean and I wanted to stay at the B&B which was nice.

When I checked in I was told there was no hot water and if I wanted to back out. I said it was too late to back out - I should have been informed before I arrive. Motel 6 should have sent a message. They said they did not send a message because I was dealing with Booking.com and not directly with them. If so, they should have told Booking.com to send me a message day before I arrived that there was no hot water and if I wanted to cancel my reservation.

Short drive to places of interest.

Short drive to places of interest. Great wine tasting area south to Buellton to Solvang, Los Olivos, Foxen Canyon wineries. Hitching Post restaurant in Casmalia for great bbq, Ellen's in Buellton for Danish pancakes, Bob's Bread in Los Alamos and Ballard for FABULOUS breads, pastries, breakfast/lunch, Pappy's in Santa Maria for casual dining, generous servings, reasonable. Drive to Guadalupe to Rancho Guadalupe Dunes Preserve, beautiful beach with a few picnic tables and a restroom.
