Location and Transport

Located 10 miles (16 kilometres) northwest of downtown Sacramento, Sacramento International Airport offers bus links to the city centre and other stops in the Sacramento county. Yolobus services 42A and 42B depart hourly, seven days a week. Taxis are found in the ground transportation area next to baggage reclaim. A ride into Downtown costs roughly USD 30.

Passengers with a scheduled stopover or facing unexpected delays can choose from several hotels in the nearby North Natomas district. Before takeoff, check out the modern art in Terminal A. While we didn't see a lot of West Sac because our event was in the industrial area and off-site meet-ups were in the downtown scene, we were pleasantly surprised with how clean the area was and the feeling of it being a safe place yo visit.

This hotel room was dirty.

This hotel room was dirty. I wrote to management and they said sorry. There was toothpaste on the counter and something smeared on the desktop. Looking pretty discusting. The cleaning staff got a zero on this one. I will not be going back and do not recommend. Some will like it I'm sure but this gal is out.

We were visiting Davis so I stayed in west sac but really I think it would have been better to just stay in downtown Sac or near Old Sac. Nothing notable in West Sac and walking around our hotel had nothing interesting. Our hotel was in an industrial area. 10 minute drive to downtown Sacramento and 10 minute drive to Davis.

Sacramento is my home town. Been here 45 years. It's nice but has its run down areas. It definitely could use better employees for the businesses around my area.. customer service sucks in most places therefore I refuse to even go to those places... And they're mostly family owned and family ran and trying to apply for work sucks. I get turned down most places I've applied too. Sacramento is not what it used to be and it's sad

The staff was friendly and eager to help. Breakfast was decent. But the rooms need upgrading. Non-working hot tub--permanently according to front desk. Photos online do not match the reality. Our heater didn't work at all (they did give us another room). There were large stains on the carpet. Everything looks a little tired. Good location but not worth the $$.

The area has a lower-middle class, sparse, rural feel. Lots of inexpensive motels, fast-food eateries and strip-mall stores intermixed with--NOTHING. There is a great deal of homelessness. I bought food and necessities from a convenient supermarket across the street and discovered how the local transit bus system worked. Downtown Sacramento is just 2 miles to the east and is walkable.

I wish I would have planned to stay longer, The downtown and riverfront area looked fantastic. I was able to spend a morning paddling at Fulsom Lake, which was a short drive from the hotel, and it was just spectacular. Highly recommend, and I am planning a visit back for sure.

Very nice hotel. Clean. new room. I had limited interaction with the staff - but those I talked to were friendly & helpful. There are several eating options very close by & a Walmart a few minutes away on foot. One thing to keep in mind (and this isn't really about the hotel) - but because of the location in Woodland - I found long wait times to get a Lyft or Uber. A couple of the drivers told me that unless they are coming from or going to the airport - with gas prices so high - they won't drive out to Woodland for a pickup. I always got a ride - but maybe allow yourself extra time if your using ride shares.
