The breakfast was excellent, and the location was easily accessible to the freeway, and the area was quieter than rooms on Market Street. The room amenities were very good -- large fridge, two-burner induction stovetop, plenty of blankets and pillows for the sofabed, table with two seats, etc. , though there was no chair for the "desk" type surface.

Cozy, clean and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. Was a treat to have the pool open until 12 am left ample time for the kids to expend some energy. The floor in the pool area was very slippery so pool shoes would have been helpful. Ron helped us get adjoining rooms for our two bookings which was very much appreciated traveling with 4 children.
Breakfast had many options and was very well stocked. We would stay here again.

I arrived very late at night, and they still welcomed me with such kindness. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel at home right away. They also had no problem accepting my two dogs, which I really appreciated. Everything was great. I would definitely stay here again!

Salem is quite small and unfortunately the state capitol was undergoing building work (it's one of the main sights). Not too many shops and restaurants downtown but the ones I went too were very good. Good place for a couple of days visit.

This hotel is very clean and has an excellent attentive staff that do everything to make your stay comfortable. They have the most awesome continental breakfast offerings I’ve ever seen. They even have a bar set up in the lobby!

Super cute option if you are visiting the local university or considering wine tasting in the area. I would even stay here if I was in Salem for business, as it's a charming small town and only about 10-15 minutes away.

Cleanliness and security were very iffy. Garbage and dirty bed coverings greeted us. Fire alarm was in a drawer with battery removed. Free breakfast consisted of old milk dry cereal and rock hard pastry. Pool was closed the entire time. Day the rooms were cleaned, only made one of the beds in the room.

I love the city of Monmouth it’s got all the seasons it seems like a very nice community the college fits right in and is close to some really good restaurants. Our favorite restaurant is Burgerville . We fell in love with the bugers, shakes and strawberry lemonade from day one. Whenever we are in town that’s our ritual we got to have it. We just discovered a nice cozy pizza place called yeasty beasty. As a mother of a college student that has a scooter this town is perfect for her to get around locally of course she’ll use the car to go out of the town but it convenient and pretty safe . I always ask her about that and she travel a when it’s dark and she hasn’t had or heard of any incidents. My husband and I are simple while we wait for our daughter to meet with us we stay. In the hotel or just walk around the hotel for my husband it’s cold for me it’s beautiful and perfect weather

Salem like most Oregon towns goes to bed early. Since we are old that suited us just fine. Beautiful areas to look at Christmas lights. We were out late and early walking our dog and the area was quiet and safe.

Excellent, spotless, friendly hotel about an hour/15 min south of Portland. Great location for visiting wineries. Hotel staff was very friendly and the room was very clean, well appointed and very comfortable. You can walk to the little town of Independence and there were many restaurants and cute shops, and a few breweries.
We ate dinner at the hotel one night, and sat with a view of the river, and ate delicious food and drink. Worth eating there. Definitely worth staying at this hotel. We will stay again!

Sublimity is a cute little town and very near some vineyards as well as the Oregon Garden Resort. The Bridgeway hotel was one of a very few lodging options in Sublimity, but it was adequate. Definitely not a 3 or 4 star hotel. I would give it 2 stars - simply because of the dated furnishings and decor. we did not partake in the continental breakfast so cannot offer any info there. We only stayed one night because we had some doctor appointments to attend to. Whenever someone asked where we stayed and we told them, the response was always, "I'm sorry." Which kind of left us feeling like we had not made the best decision to stay there, but the choices were very limited. For our next visit we will be staying at the Oregon Garden Resort in Silverton, which is only $10 more than the Bridgeway and about 10 minutes further from the doctor's office.

We came to Salem to visit the Capitol - and found it under refurbishment so could not be visited (It will be completed in 2026). We did visit the Old Courthouse and found friendly people who answered our questions. Hiking in Silver Falls State Park (45 minutes away) was enjoyable. The Heritage Center was very interesting - and definitely worth investing some time there. We very much enjoyed The Yard with its selection of about 20 food carts to choose from - we ate there both nights of our stay.
