Staff friendly an accommodating. Breakfast personnel did a good job keeping things stocked and cleaning personnel did a good job cleaning the room for the next day. We were there for 5 days, and were not disappointed.

Great location and a very upbeat and vibrant atmosphere. The rooms were well set out and comfortable. The staff were Friesland helpful. Great bar downstairs and an amazing roof top bar. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

We visited Springfield to attend the Halloween Monster Ball, the biggest Halloween party in the midwest! Springfield offers a lot to do over a weekend, and we always discover something new.
We shopped at Batttlefied Mall for the first time in a long time and were surprised to find it remodeled, updated and packed with shoppers! Most people had quite a few shopping bags so you could see that money was being spent.
We went to some pretty basic places like Starbucks and Five Guys and got great service at both places.
We stayed at the University Plaza Hotel and Conference center, which was a comfortable and friendly stay. The staff was awesome, the rooms were comfy and it was locaated a half block from our venue. We walked around and looked at some very old homes that had been updated to look fresh, new and quaint while keeping their victorian-esque architectural values.
The Monster Ball just keeps getting better! It's my favorite event of the season. This party is huge and so many costumes are very inventive. Costumed guest are very interactive and love posing for pics. The cost of the ticket includes free, all you can eat Papos Pizza, Hurts Donuts and various sodas. Bar drinks are traded for tokens purchased at the door, which are sold individually or in value packs.

The Bass Pro Shop Megaplex is definitely a mega-attraction. I spent 3 hours there and still did not get to see everything. Next time, I hope to see some caves and do more sites if the climate and weather permits.

We like to come to Springfield quite often from NWArkansas. We have some shops that we like to go to and just drive around the area. It is easy to get around in the Springfield area. We would avoid staying at this hotel next time. We ate at Village Inn.
