It was just quite possibly the greatest motel of all time. It was clean, there were valets and a food banquet of the highest quality, staff were very attentive, and there was even a jacuzzi in our room! I didn't even want to leave for the reasom for our trip! I'd rather have just stayed in the motel 6 for the whole weekend! Wow! Definitely recommend!

Horrible place to stay. Shelter, drug addicted, the whole place is spooky 👻. Rooms not suitable beds lifts off the floor when u sit on it. Fire alarm goes off. Staff look beat down cracked up this place is horrible.

We only went to Strong Memorial Hospital & also 2times to Jay's Diner food was very good & great prices. & very friendly & prompt service from waitresses & great variety of food to choose from. This Restaurant was a very good find like a diamond in Ruff we will be returning soon.

1.) I booked several days before my trip.
1.) I booked several days before my trip. On arrival was given a room with a door to an adjoining suite. This was not my choice. Whether due to thin walls or the doorway access, I could hear the neighbors' conversations which kept me awake until 11:30 pm
2.) People walking in the room above added to the inability to sleep in my room.
3.) I called the front desk twice asking for an alternate room. They said none was available.
4.) Although the mattress was comfortable the next morning I had a red rash on my arm and shoulder. I've not had that before or since.
5.) At 9:30 am the 'breakfast' bar was a utilitarian space with only a limited display of low-quality packaged rolls and no fresh fruit.
I'll never stay at a Microtel in the future!

There are good restaurants and shopping. There is a movie theater that we went to. They have a great public library. it is easy to get around. I find it confusing to have an East Henrietta Road and a West Henrietta Road. We like to go to Lands End to shop. There was a good diner that we went to and a European Restaurant.

Lots of restaurants, facilities, access to major routes nearby. Perfect location to visit local lighthouses on the lake and visit the beaches. Reasonable room rate for families. Adorable bear theme that is appealing to adults and children both. The bench outside was handy for early risers to not disturb sleeping family members. Friendly, welcoming staff!

I like Pittsford it’s a cute little village town and nearby there’s a Wegmans with take out gourmet & basically anything you need.
I noticed sometime the town traffic can get a little backed up so if you take Google maps, it was very strategic at navigating around the town if I didn’t need to go through.
On my next trip, I would like to walk along the Erie Canal, which runs along the village. And there’s a cluster of canal restaurants with a view.

It is a very walkable city based on the area I was in. Traffic was not to heavy compared to where I am from. The streets are a little confusing with the traffic pattern changes and the lines I the street not being very clear as some of them needed to be repainted but thats probably not an issue if you drive there often . The food we had, mostly take out and a hotel restaurant, was good. Overall it really seems like a lovely place.

We stayed for one night at Chili Center. We chose this hotel as the rooms are maintained well and clean. Due to covid, very basic options for the breakfast. But, I like the coffee!!
Very good place to stay for short durations, especially if cleanliness is the main factor in deciding your room.

The room was great.
The room was great. Spacious with a separate bedroom and enclosed toilet separate from the bathroom sink. Made the stay more enjoyable. Didn’t feel like you were in a small room with only a bed to sit on. The only disadvantage was the alarm clock radio was preset and the alarm went off at 6am. I would suggest the cleaning staff check the alarm as part of their room duties it was very disturbing to be woken up at an earlier time than we planned.

I liked the downtown park and walkway along the riverfront, and enjoyed the little after-work food, wine and music event in the evening.
I spent the morning at the Museum of Play -- what a great concept and fun place to explore! It was great to see and remember the kinds of toys that were around when I was a kid.
Travel by Uber was really easy, but I can't comment on local transit, since I didn't have time to use it.
I'd like a chance to return and see more of Rochester -- there's a lot I'd like to explore and experience. FYI, I came to visit because of the great article in the Amtrak 'New York By Rail" magazine about the city.
