Great place to stay. It was cleaner than a higher rated place I had stayed at recently out of state. Very comfortable bed. Shower had plenty of pressure and temperature was spot on. Continental breakfast was excellent. Staff was welcoming. Air conditioner cooled me off from a hot day.

Our room was clean, quiet and a safe location. The beds are new and very comfortable. Our room had two Queen size beds. Plenty of parking. The in room refrigerator was very nice. It had a separate (tiny) freezer.

I lived here 35 yrs ago, still friendly place and vibrant community. Sadly some down-sizing has happened and some the old fashioned charm is gone, but still glad to important history is preserved!
The Aroostook Centre Mall is nearly vacant, but many new stores are open. Places to eat McDonalds, Arbys, Ruby Tuesdays, Dominoes, Northeast land Hotel Restaurant, Mia Tai still open.
Some stores are gone, vacant but lots of new growth!!!

Washburn is a small quiet town near Presque Isle that is easy to get around and is rustic and peaceful. Staff at the inn aided me with planning a route to spot moose and I was successful with two sightings.

Nice little town with all the convenience of a big town. Fuel, Eateries, Shopping, and great hospitality. Only 10 miles from Presque Isle where everything is at your convenience, Super Walmart, Arby’s, Taco Bell, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Mardens, several banks, and so much more.

I grew up in Caribou and was there to put my mom to rest and visit my brother. However, I chose to stay in Presque Isle. They have better and more stores and restaurants. I did not want to have to drive further every time I needed something. It was much more convenient for us. The folks are all so nice. I do miss northern Maine!

Caribou has change so much from when I was stationed at Loring AFB, it's now a city.
We had dinner at Franklin's Southside Dinner.
staff was very friendly, food was wonderful and priced nicely.

Home one day and I miss Russels and Caribou.
Home one day and I miss Russels and Caribou.
Presque Isle for dining and sh.opping.
Spent hours driving around. So many wonderful farms and hills.
The 7 hour drive was well worth it and i WILL be back again.
THANKS RUSSELS MOTEL!!!
