This was my first time at the Sonesta Select Hotel. In fact, the hotel's name was all new to me. Guided by the reviews on booking.com, the great photos of the property and of course the price, I was happy to make an online reservation.
I am so pleased I selected this hotel. The property was clean and inviting. The room decor was simple elegant with modern furnishing and amenities such as an ironing board and a good working iron.
The staff was excellent. Two thumbs up for the front desk team. I arrived on property approximately 2 hours before check in time and a vacant room was quickly identified and I was allowed to access same early at no extra charge.
The hotel's Airport Shuttle was a big plus. As it was my first time in Philadelphia, moreso as a transit passenger, I was more than happy to be picked up promptly by way of a simple call to alert the hotel of my arrival. The Shuttle Driver was very professional and knowledgeable and by way of his quick online intervention on check-out morning, I was able to confirm the correct departure terminal.
I was only looking for an affordable place to crash for the night until my next flight but I got a whole lot more..an excellent room at a great price and A-grade hospitality (which included room deliveries).
The only missing peice from this fabulous experience was breakfast. You guys should consider adding Continental Breakfast to the package and open the Resturant earlier in the afternoon. Since check-in time is 4:00pm and guests may arrive early and hungry, like myself, the restaurant would be the ideal place to pass the time if room is not ready.

Coming in we were greeted by the receptionist. Was very quick and efficient. Everything was in order and clean. Came to the room and was in great shape. Staff was very polite we have greeted them if they were around and they greeted us back. There was always someone at the front desk to answer questions for me. The little convivence store is great because we didn't have to leave the hotel to grab snacks. Overall great place and definitely will book again when we are in Philly. This was the quietest sleep my partner and I got in a hotel since we have been going to Philly often. So kudos on that!

I had to stay there due to reasons beyond my control or I would have left! There were roaches in the room. The floor was dirty and the stripping was falling away from the wall. The toilet seat was broken, one side hooked on. There were hairs on the bed sheets. Two out of the three staff members I met were very polite and nice. I was told there would be a microwave and refrigerator through booking.com, but when I got there, there wasn't either in the room and there was a microwave in the lobby to use while the lobby was open.

Getting around is a mess but as long as you keep your GPS on you'll get where you're going.

Horrible. Staff have no clue what they doing. They have charged my card inaccurately with out my permission more then once! Trying to reach the manager to fix it is nearly impossible! I’m still waiting on a refund from a unauthorized charge! Will never stay here again. I would recommend not using your regular card maybe a prepaid card cause they will randomly charge you months later hopefully you don’t realize it.

Overall location was easy to find. My room was very clean and all the staff were very welcoming and very nice. Dinner at the Streetlight restaurant was great. Housekeepers were very friendly and respectful. The only thing that went wrong was that my bank debit card was charged for the stay along with my cashapp card. Cashapp was contacted. The hotel released the money but cashapp stated that it could take up to one month to receive those funds.

The location is good to be able to shop as mall close by and lots transportation options into city .the staff are courteous and responsive however the room stank of cigarettes and requested non smoking . The furnishings were clean yet not adequate . Both lamps missing shades and all outlets were very worn out and not hold plug well making them useless . The refrigerator worked ok but not a single cup or utensils so take plastic for use. Also inadequate trash container in room . Can’t open curtains as ground level rooms and bright security lights shine in window at night

We came into town to attend the 76ers and Hornets game.
We came into town to attend the 76ers and Hornets game. The Wells Fargo Center is less than 15 min away from the hotel and very easy to get too. There is an Old Country Buffet and Royal Farms right next to hotel. We had dinner at Millers Ave 1119 W Baltimore Pike which is about 10 min away from hotel. Baltimore Pike is a long strip of restaurants, shopping mall and other stores. There is a walmart about 5 min away from the hotel. Although it is not a super walmart; they do have some groceries; no deli or meats. If you like to gamble, Harrah's casino is about 10 min down the road.

The hotel is wonderful!
The hotel is wonderful! Our sink didn't drain well and that was annoying, but everything else was great. The shower is large and has great water pressure, the room is very clean and spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. Also, the air conditioning unit is very quiet.
