Hotels near Miami Seaplane Base - MPB, Miami

The location of the hotel is very convenient to my business schedule. The location is quiet and in excellent proximity to dining establishments and take out. A points reward system would be an attractive addition.

A new generation is claiming South Beach and the beach adapts, Still the best and always magical. Human traffic on the BoardWalk can be a little intense for strollers. Runner, bikers, dogs and gawkers in huge numbers.

I SPENT MY TIME AT MIAMI AIRPORT AFTER ARRIVING AT 8:45PM ON 11/23/2025, I LEARNED SHORT DISTANCES ...FROM THE AIRPORT USE A BLUE CAB & LONG DISTANCES USE A YELLOW CAB. SO TO DAYS INN AT MIAMI AIRPORT---USE A BLUE CAB --IN THE ROOM TO SLEEP , UP AT 5AM SHOWER & PACK, UBER TO SEDUCTION COSMETIC CENTER. FROM 7:45 AM UNTIL 9:30AM, I WAS AT SEDUCTION COSMETIC CENTER. THEN TOOK A YELLOW CAB BACK TO THE MIAMI AIRPORT TO FLY HOME TO MISSIOURI....SO I REALLY DID NOT GET TO SEE ANY OF MIAMI. I DID NOT TAKE ANY PICTURES. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH SEDUCTION COSMETIC CENTER. I HAD TALKED WITH A DR MCCONALDS ON SATURDAY 11/22/2025 BETWEEM 9-10AM & HE COULD HAVE TOLD ME NOT TO COME BECAUSE THEY WOULD CANCEL MY SURGERY....BUT HE DID NOT DO THIS! I'M NOT REAL HAPPY WITH SEDUCTION COSMETIC CENTER.....AS A MATTER OF FACT I'M TRYING TO GET MY REFJUND FOR A SURGERY THAT DID NOT HAPPEN.

It had everything we needed; shops, close to the beach and great restaurants and bars. All in walking distance. The beach was clean and expansive and waters warm. Very safe swimming if you have children. We used this stop prior to boarding a cruise and the airports and ports are all a short cab ride away. Highly recommend as a destination.

We enjoyed the City Tour from South Beach, Little Havana Cuban nightlife, Wynwood Art, rich and famous houses on Star Island and an evening photo of Miami skyline. There was a hive of activities in Bayside Marketplace from tours, souvenir shopping, food and free live on-stage Latin music and lively crowd when we were there before US Thanksgiving week. We visited a) the well known Vizcaya House and Gardens with great photo opportunities, b) to Key West at the end of Florida Keys which is an iconic and scenic road trip to the southernmost point of US Continent. Here, we visited Nobel Laureate Enerst Hemmingway's ( actually owned by his 2nd wife ) house, studio and cat descendants of Snow White and c) saw 4-5 alligators in different spots after the speedy airboats slowed and moved into the shallow waters in the Everglades Holiday Park. They shoot and give you a free souvenir photo of yourselves at end of ride. As for the famous Art Deco architectural hotels along South Beach, the heavy crowd and traffic scene, can easily distract you. It is better to visit a cruise port town called Napier, in north New Zealand which is famous for its Art Deco architecture but with a country village feel. Overall, Maimi is a very interesting city to visit for a few days before we embarked on the Caribbean cruise.

It has a great vibe! Yes, it’s a tourist attraction but it’s easy to see why when you’re there. Wonderful art deco buildings & hotels, fabulous, clean beach, lifeguards, restrooms & frequent security patrols. A multitude of cafes, bakeries & restaurants make the Miami Beach area great for people watching! The boardwalk stretches for miles & is great for walking or cycling along.
