Fantastic hotel, check in very easy, we dropped back our rental car and availed of the shuttle to bring us back just called the hotel and the bus was on very promptly, booked bus for transfer to airport for 9am again very efficient. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, staff very helpful

Orlando International Airport (MCO) Information

Location and Transport

Just 11 miles (18 kilometres) from the city, Orlando International Airport offers a variety of transport options into town. The Lynx Bus #11 and #51 depart every 30 minutes from Monday to Saturday, with a journey time of around 40 minutes. On Sundays and public holidays, however, they run every hour. A SunRail train ride takes 15 minutes from downtown Orlando, but you’ll need to connect via the bus link at Sand Lake Road to reach the airport.

There's a hotel located inside the main terminal, and plenty of others dotted around the outskirts. Over 120 shops and restaurants are housed within the terminals and art lovers will be pleased to know the airport has a permanent collection on show.

Terminal Information

The main terminal is divided into two parts, labelled A and B. Use A to reach Airside terminals 1 and 2, and B to reach 3 and 4. The central terminal is connected to the other four by a free tram service. Catching a connecting flight at Orlando International will require travellers to pass through immigration - a passport, visa or ESTA may be necessary.

There are a lot of activities in the Orlando area.

There are a lot of activities in the Orlando area. Definitely plan out your day. Icon Park was a quick stop. We did the Sea Life Aquarium and ended up doing the Wax Museum. It was worth the price. We also did the Illusion Museum we felt it was over priced for what was available to see it was a little crowded but still a little pricey for what they have.

Kissimmee is a nice area , just like everywhere it has its areas you have to be careful. Traffic is bad but it is a tourist area so expect that. Most people are very nice and helpful you do have some that act like they hate tourist. Overall I would recommend this area, the hotels are reasonable in price and most don’t charge a parking fee which I like and think it’s stupid when they do. You will enjoy Kissimmee , every place has its ups and downs but overall it’s more on the ups.

This is a terrible hotel we will never ever stay there the bathroom was so tiny the toilet rocked called maintenance said it was fixed wasn't bed sheets ripped security came to our room every night we are in our late 60s

Make sure you eat at Boston Lobster Feast on 192 , sign up for email and get $10 off buffet. Go to Al Capone dinner show, and definitely go to Medieval Times Dinner Theater. All of them are worth the money.

Traveling to Orlando could be awesome or disappointing. There are plenty of attractions to visit and it's better to plan in advance your trip and try to have a schedule to follow, but bear in mind unforeseen situations might happen as long queues for almost everything mainly in the amusing parks. Having a car to move around the city is key and a need. Things could get expensive mainly inside the amusing parks. There are plenty of outlet stores to visit as well as clearance stores and you might find something to buy that's worth it.

The location of our rental property was centrally located (...

The location of our rental property was centrally located ( 20-30 min drive)to all of the theme parks. While we only visited the Universal parks, Disney is just around the corner from the property. There are many food venues near the rental, as well as numerous Pubix and Walmarts to pick up any necessities. The kitchen has everything needed for a quick meal at home, if you so desire. The swimming pool was available, although we did not have time to use it. The pool and deck were spotless, as was the whole house. Wonderful stay.

Free shuttle from MCO airport. Breakfast offered a very good selection of cereals, meat, dairy and eggs. Actually for this category of hotels I think that this breakfast choice was one of the best we’ve seen in US. Great location with several restaurants around, a few of them at walking distance. Helpful and polite stuff. Comfortable beds. Room ok.
